iniBuilds A350 Airliner Teaser | Microsoft Flight Simulator

However, the stance from several developers has thus far been that it's tough to impossible to make a detailed A350 because apparently Airbus keeps any documentation electronically and under wraps. So I do wonder about the simulation depth, if iniBuilds can build something deep purely out of expertise from pilots, or if they actually do have documentation. I think that's a question worth asking given the sentiment from other developers.

I'm still curious how iniBuilds got the information to develop the A350. From my understanding, a lot of the information about the A350 is still confidential, and not public like the older airliners.  But I think iniBuilds implied they had access to the necessary information somehow. Obviously, they have A350 pilots giving information to them. But I think a lot of the information on the systems and internal mechanics are not fully public and the pilots don't know all that information either, so it will be interesting to see the final result of this A350 and I hope we hear about how iniBuilds got the necessary information to make the A350.

From what I understand they have different dev teams working on the different aircraft.

I don't think that changes matters much. It doesn't really matter which of their development teams work on it ... they still have to demonstrate the systems fidelity to the real AC reliably.

In any case. The modeling looks good i would hope the textures are not aged too much. This is a modern aircraft relatively speaking.

Realism & Data
Before we move to the teaser, and the FAQ I wanted to address an area that many of you have asked multiple times.. due to the apparent lack of data on the project, how are we able to promise an authentic, immersive experience.

  • The A350 is over a decade old now and quite a bit of data can be found for core systems and overall functionality. We had some missing spots when it came to the data we needed to bring the A350 into MSFS so we regularly rent a full motion A350 simulator for multiple hours which allow us to fully capture these details and fill in any missing information. For aerodynamic data we have a base data package and the simulator allowed us to verify this data.
  • To further complement this data point, we have a collection of dedicated A350 experts (approximately 12) ranging from engineers, pilots and others that serve as a critical but complementary source of information when there is any confusion from the information we have.

Read it .. satisfied for now.. lets see how they follow through with their stated goals.

Yeah seems like they are doing a good job of getting what info they can.  Better to have a 80-85% accurate 350 than nothing at all.

We had a good conversation with Thomson Meeks at LR a few weeks ago, and at this time whilst there is no plan to develop further products for X-Plane, the door is always open and things were left on a good note.

We want to thank our X-Plane community who allowed us to grow and develop to who we are today.

Well I can't say I didn't see that coming. They're all in on the MSFS platform from here on

5800X3D. 32 GB RAM. 1TB SATA SSD. 3TB HDD. RX  9070XT.

I'm also glad they stated that they were including FLS. That was a MAJOR feature that i was hoping to be included.

Seems like this could be a great one. A350's currently used on the Singapore to JFK and Newark nonstops (current longest), and should be next year finally on the Sydney-London nonstops. But great for any type of flight. I do love the A350!

The inclusion of an avionics bay has me thinking this plane is gonna be nuts!

Yes performance wise.

For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.
