I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

Lets see if ini have done a better job than the Bell 47G....

Ah, just the thing for hovering over Embassy roofs in central London, I hope it comes with a  deployable Lewis Collins on a rope.

Oh my, a Westland Wasp.  I sure hope it flies ok.  This was out of the blue, did anyone in the community know this was coming?

It's working fine for me and I don't have one. Not sure. I'll quote a relevant section on the wheels, with additional on the special negative pitch feature:

Castor wheels may be considered fairly notorious for handling difficulties, but Terry explained: “Whilst it does have wheels, apart from when being manhandled or towed when shut-down, the Wasp is hover-taxied just like a skid undercarriage helicopter. Interestingly, I’ve had more than one air traffic controller clear me for ground taxiing.

“The wheels can be either free-casting or locked in position. You can even turn the Wasp in circles around its own central axis, if you lock each [wheel], offset by 90° in the right position – really useful when in tight spaces.”

I have flown a few different helicopter types over the years, and was interested to see the Wasp is one of just a few helicopter types that is able to select ‘negative-pitch’ on the collective. The collective is a lever at the side of the seat – raising it increases the positive pitch angle of attack of the rotor blades, forcing more air downwards, which in turn generates more lift and enables the aircraft to get airborne. Conversely, being able to select ‘negative pitch’ literally forces air upwards thereby compressing the Wasp onto the deck, abating any tendency to slip or slide whilst the aircraft isn’t locked down –a fantastic bonus when operating from a small deck in rolling/pitching seas.

I wonder if it’s because I’m reading this on a phone?

Thanks for the info though. I’ve been flown around in both Scouts and Wasps…but that was forty years ago!

Sadly not.

Visuals are decent, flight model feels like a drone 😞

Jorg said in the last Q&A that the local legends/feature flyers aren’t meant to be super high quality.

Yes.  I bought this for just over £8 (being a premium deluxe user), and the two models are a lot of fun.  So I don't know why people don't understand they are 'light' models.  Picky simmers just need to stay away - simple as that.
