August 19, 20241 yr " VKB Gladiator NXT Premium Left " I have VKB Gladiator NXT Premium Right coming in the mail. From what I read and see online, it is better than a TM Warthog and much cheaper. Under $200 including tax, shipping. Humidity can be terrible. I have to go to the wall and push a button on the thermostat to get rid of it. An option that the richest Pharaoh in ancient Egypt did not have. 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. If you feel it's too stiff, even when using the lightest springs, you can remove the grease and apply a lighter one. I did so. Even VKB has YouTube videos guiding you. If only all OEMs were like them... How did my sweaty forehead turn into a joystick conversation? Although I admit, MY "joystick" is currently sweaty too..

The VKB one, of course 😂 3 hours ago, martin-w said: But how would you handle minus 20C? 🥶 We don't: we have no seasons in the Caribbean. It's always spring/summer there and, in coastal locations, seldom below +20°C. Now that I'm in Argentina, I have a hard time when the temperature goes below +10°C. Strip off all your clothes, and have a gorgeous blonde women spray you with cool water. Ask her to rub you down with ice cubes too. That should work. 👍

And sometimes we drape our furry 🐈 around our necks and benefit from their body heat. In Guernsey, it seldom drops below freezing of course, hence why many Guerns swin in the ocean on a cold winters day, in order to activate the life extending sirtuins. It does have a negative dimensional impact on certain aspects of our bodies, but it soon recovers.

August 21, 20241 yr Moderator 75% humidity is pretty normal here in the UK. See my website in the link below. You have to balance humidity with temperature. 100% humidity with a temp of 10°C is not uncomfortable. But if the temp is 20°C+ it will be. At that point it’s the dew point temp which is critical. The most uncomfortable day I can remember was when the air temp was in the 20sC but high humidity made it a killer. The dew point was 23°C. Awful. Ray (Cheshire, England). As for your suggestions, what are clothes? No air conditioning in British Isles. Except in shops and businesses. Battling cold is the priority. Although the Channel Islands is quite a bit warmer than UK.
