Flightsim To, very slow

Featured Replies

Its me, or is it real that FlightsimTo, is responding too slow, and sometimes is almost unusable  ?

I have no issues with other sites

I occasionally get that with that site. Maybe it coincides with some background update/backup process they're running. It seems to clear itself quite quickly (usually!).

I agree - on my IPad I cannot use flightsim.to anymore - it takes ages to operate a search request - the pictures do often refuse to load. In former times I enjoyed it surfing around on flightsim.to with my iPad. But that is no longer possibel.

If I want to look for something on the site I have to wait until I am sitting at my desktop PC.

In my opinion it is caused by the massive presentation of commercial popups and clips.

Here, response time is OK but sometimes some pictures aren't displayed.  See one or two reports on their Discord server but no feedbacks from admin(s): https://discord.com/channels/745946404677091409/1164626075075219456

Check my free MSFS sceneries : https://flightsim.to/profile/vbazillio/trending and my hardware configuration.

It’s hit and miss for me. I often wonder if it’s taking a processing hit from the heavy ad placements. I visit the site less often these days because of the clunkiness of it. It’s unfortunate because the site has some terrific freeware work from many talented people and I’d visit frequently if it was a better experience.

The message of “this website needs to verify your computer” (or so) is getting annoying and boring.

Cheers, Ed

Last night it had decent speeds. But last Friday it was a torture: pages took ages to load, pictures didn't load at all. I was looking for a livery for the A321. Ended up flying something else.

And what about the Premium membership? Could it be an explanation for those having no problem of access and download speed compared to regular users?

I'm not a Premium user ... and don't seem to be penalised in any way. Apart from the [very] occasional glitch, the site loads fine for me.

Same here no problem at all, and I really do appreciate that we don't have to wait anymore over 10 seconds for each download, as it was before.
I am very grateful that we have such a nice platform for free.
