I’ve got no affiliation with BATC and have pretty much exactly the same experience as Fiorentino. Worth remembering that this is still Early Access and Traffic is in Alpha. I personally don’t understand how you can compare the basic BATC voices to default MSFS ATC - to me they sound completely different and yes, some of the local accents are a bit off but others are spot on. The variety alone is miles ahead of default Azure or any other ATC software I have tried before. Edited September 15, 20241 yr by Speedbird 217

Yes, they are more varied than MSFS, but that's about it. My problems with BATC so far have nothing to do with the voices, just stating a fact for the person wondering if the voices were the free ones or the premium.

At launch there were a lot of issues with vectored approaches, but have had very little problems in the last couple months. They've put a ton of work into it. 8 minutes ago, bahnzo said: He's got the same green tag mods there have. No, mods have a different shade of green. Fiorentoni is a Community Mentor. Mentors just help other users, but they're not part of the dev team or a moderator. Edited September 15, 20241 yr by Tuskin38

At launch there were a lot of issues with vectored approaches, but have had very little problems in the last couple months. They've put a ton of work into it. Not in my experience. In fact, vectoring was one of the very wrong things I've experienced. For starters, it's vectoring me *directly* to the airport, and not to a place where I can turn final. I had to go around and manually line myself up. Second, going back to my home airport, it not only wanted me to land on a rwy which isn't in use, but is also too small and short for almost all a/c. And when I requested the normal runway, it agreed, but then simply went back to vectoring me to that rwy. In the dark (it's not lighted). And with a perfectly functioning ILS runway. And this wasn't a one time thing. It did it again to me on my next flight. Vectored me directly to the airport instead of to a place I could turn and land, and again did so in the dark when I should've been given the ILS runway. it's just not ready. But they are pushing traffic now to get people to pay the extra money to be a "supporter".
September 15, 20241 yr Well, I only fly IFR airliners with Beyond ATC, not GA. Report your issues on the discord.

Buyer's beware. that what happen when you dont read what you buy they clearly saying the ATC is in early access plus the traffic is even in more early access and you expect a full functional product. even they put a advice before you buy the product. and you don't need to pay for traffic just wait for the stable version. i can't imagine be developer and deal with these customers lol Edited September 16, 20241 yr by michdb8

They very clearly announced it was an Early Access release from the very beginning, features are very much Alpha as per the thread title, so nah it's your own fault for not reading properly, don't blame the product for your lack of patience.
