By using some velcro and and a monitor stand and keyboard tray to cover the yoke body and now my keyboard fits right on top at a nice angle and height. So I lose no deskspace at all. And on top of that, I velcroed a slanted tray to hold the keyboard tilted instead of flat,, it is 17" wide which is perfect. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09ZJ14XF7 A lot of chatter on the forums about the CL60 which is force feedback and under $1000. Very convenient. Vic green
October 6, 20241 yr The monitor stand is a perfect fit and there are identical stands (completely identical) on Amazon too. It makes a flat base. By adding the acrylic keyboard stand on top the other stand, the keyboard is held slanted with a front edge to keep the keyboard from sliding. Thus the Honeycomb yoke takes up almost no deskspace. 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. I purchased mine second hand but after digging around i found this https://www.amazon.com/stores/WheelStandPro/page/571D7659-7A18-4AF1-8A34-49739953AE99?ref_=ast_bln&store_ref=bl_ast_dp_brandLogo_sto. I noticed its got a honeycomb bravo nicely set up alongside a yoke.. I think i may try to get in contact with them to see if mine is compatible and buy the extensions. I've also got one axis that's failing after one year of use. The FlightSim yoke looks really nice. The new VIRPL one releasing soon will be interesting as well. Even with adding springs eh? I found it amply strong and solid and use it nearly daily now for a couple years. I realized that springs just won't do it anymore. I personally need a more realistic resistance...I had high hopes for the yoke initially, but after using their product, it just doesn't feel right (light, cheap, tinny, plastic). October 19, 20241 yr Watch out for issues with the Thrustmaster Yoke, there is a known problem that develops after time where the roll axis drifts badly too the left, I brought one and returned it because of this and the 2nd one ended up doing the exact same thing but this time the throttle sliders would force the roll axis fully left. I had to RMA it and it was sent back to TM in France of all places to be fixed. I have to say the service was super quick and it was returned within 10 days. Now mine is perfect and I have zero roll axis drift. October 24, 20241 yr Another vote for the Yoko Yoke. I've had mine for several years and performance continues to be rock solid! My Honeycomb Alpha went back in the box.
