October 14, 20241 yr Author Well I bought the 4080 Super for more than half the price of a 4090. 60 fps max in Nvidia on my Sony TV. Gameplay and smoothness the same as 4090 for my play settings. I can't stand the visual issues with it so the 4090 for me is used to amp up Render Scaling to 150 and that combined with AMD Fidelity FX at 200 delivers the sharpest imagery I've ever enjoyed and was worth it for that alone. I'm hoping some day these DLSS FG aberrations are resolved but won't hold my breath. In terms of raw processing power the 4090 is roughly 60% stronger than 4080 Super.
