Me too. Cannot wait to fly with this beauty. Especially Northwest/KLM mixed livery from the '90's. Another gem to arrive someday in the sim! And a true classic as well!

The addon frenzy will unleash totally when pmdg comes out with 747-100/400/SP. JF with A330B4, perhaps 747-200/300 classics too if not canceled and Fokker 70/100 lineup too, Bluebird with 757/767.

We will go bananas guys, I mean it!🍌🍌

It's well known by now that the PMDG classics originate from the JF project, which they took over.

I missed that? So JF is not making any 747 anymore as I can understand?

In good hands with PMDG. It will arrive, eventually. That for sure.

Well known ? That's news to me. As of 11th July this year, JF still intends to develop the 747-200 although it is very much on the back burner.

Do you have a source for your information ?

Surely not everybody was kung fu fighting.

Couldn't be more amped up about this incredible looking DC-10 and the 747 classics inbound!

I too would be interested to seek confirmation of this, JustFlight had a 742 in development for P3D when it was cancelled due to the market collapsing, they remain discreet on this project for MSFS. PMDG is making the 741 and not a 742 if I read correctly RR's post. So why would the 742 become a 741 when changing developer and the 742 ignored in the process?

It wouldn't really take much work to convert a 200 model into a 100. They're pretty similar aircraft with only a few minor differences with the main stuff being under the hood. They probably want to start with the 100 series and work through the classics finishing on the 300.

This is completely unsourced speculation.

In fact, it's pretty thoroughly discredited, based on the pictures Robert shared it looks nothing like the shoddy texturing and lifeless look the Just Flight previews had. Why buy that? The art looked awful, and PMDG would have had to re-do everything anyways. It would actually end up being more work to try to resurrect someone else's project and bring it up to your quality standards than to start from scratch.
