Exactly, I experienced the same and could never get it to work that way.  If I have some time tomorrow I'll put some images together for you.  It's 4am were I am in the US and I need a few hours sleep LOL.

Thanks buddy and do try to catch some sleep now 🙂!

I would say this is represented in the iFly.  What I can say for sure is that comparing it to the PMDG (which is just the obvious point of comparison in the sim), the flight model in general is much n

  • The sound package makes the PMDG one sound like an amateur with zero experience made it. Boris did a phenomenal job on the iFly sounds and the immersion is crazy good. Turning on the runway and hearin

Thanks, guess I'll need to play around with it a bit.

Up until the latest version of GSX, this is where I put in the amount of fuel and this used to trigger the GSX refueling but not anymore.

This worked for me 2 days ago like before. Make sure to enter the amount of fuel, then wait until GSX prompts, and only then hit "SET FUEL" to the right

Thanks for trying to help but what you suggest is how I've always been doing it and still is, to make sure holding off pressing the SET FUEL button until GSX prompts me to.

Again, this used to work perfectly over here as well but stopped working with the previous update and still isn't working with the latest update of GSX which was release yesterday or today. Noticed there was a new version this morning.

Really odd but no big deal really. If I can't get it to work, I'll just skip the refueling part of GSX. Most important to me for immersion is to see the passengers and the cargo loading which still works fine thankfully.

However, normal A to B flights are great!

If I want to fly an aircraft that is only good for normal A to B flights I will certainly not pay PMDG price for it.

That A to B fly is just nonsens speaking, this plane is likewise the PMDG one, i did a lot of flights and i miss nothing compared to the PMDG stuff !!

cheers 😉

Well the PMDG won't take off like this, that's for sure.

That's the Asobo MAX. This thread is about the iFly MAX.

SET FUEL on the performance page upload instant to the aircraft like payload.

I use GSX to load fuel in real time likewe are used to with Fenix and FSLabs etc.

So could you share the steps to do it the way you suggest?

I never tried one of those other aircraft you mention so not sure how to use GSX to refuel in real time. Maybe it's in the manual, will have a look when I get home 👍

I noticed that entering 244/42 for the winds resulted in an INVALID message. I wonder if it would have accepted 244/042?

I will , IN real time might be a little over the top in the MAX, but GSX slowly fills the aircraft.

Fenix and the FSL it is possible.

I think I have it figured out. The problem seems to have been how the default panel state in the MAX8 had some 10 tons fuel loaded already. Meaning, when GSX asked me to start refueling after putting in the correct amount, the value was in fact lower than the fuel already loaded. Which I guess is why GSX didn't want to start the procedure. Which of course makes a lot of sense.

Will see if it's possible to change the default fuel level when I load the MAX8. If not, I just need to remember to always first put in a small amount of fuel before asking GSX to refuel. Meaning when putting in the actual fuel value, it will in fact be an increase vs what I have already loaded.

Edited to add, I actually knew this already. I just didn't think of it since I hasn't been an issue before which is kind of strange. Considering I'm using the same saved panel state now as before. The only thing I can think of is how I maybe resaved the panel state and had more fuel in the tanks when doing so without realizing. If the amount of fuel is saved with the panel state that is...

Either way, at least I know how to refuel again with the GSX animation in place 🙂

Thanks for the advice along the way!

That is an old video. It was pilot error. In his next video, he explained what went wrong.
