Like Shift+C to get in and out of the plane as an example. No, the new items are not in the 2020 keyboard profile; they need to be added manually. I assume some of the 2024 assignments conflict with things in the 2020 assignments, but the most common ones (Shift-C, Alt-N, Enter) can be added without conflict.

I thought about it and feel 2020 will be in my past by the 1st of the year and wont be going back to it, so I'm just going to learn the new keys which for me are all just about views anyway. November 20, 20241 yr You can choose the 2020 keyboard controls from settings and that works the way you expect them to from 2020. What a pain however having to go back and forth while setting up all the controls. Half the time the joystick controls don't work the first time and some keyboard settings didn't stick. IE i set RIght ALt and up arrow to pan closer to the instruments. However this didn't stick when I loaded a new plane. Edited November 20, 20241 yr by mikegrr
November 20, 20241 yr Hello gang. I am having trouble with two bindings. 1. How to setup parking brake to engage/disengage with a button on my Alpha Yoke 2. I tried those. Problem I ran into was..... 1. The toggle parking brake would disengage but not re-engage. 2. The flaps increase/decrease would bring the flaps up all the way or down all the way but not incrementally. Any ideas? Sincerely, Dennis D. November 20, 20241 yr What is the equivalent to the MSFS 2020 keys in cockpit where I could move around freely in the cockpit and cabin with the arrow keys? Ryzen 7 5800x, 64gb, 7900XTX 24gb

At the right of the control assignment, do you see a number in a white circle? If so, theres a conflict, meaning that button is assigned to another control too.

November 20, 20241 yr Question: How do you delete or remove a bound button? I put a binding to a button by mistake and can't see how to just remove it (back to nothing). Does that make sense? November 20, 20241 yr Since recently - it worked earlier today before - I have a new problem, my joysticks (TM Airbus Stick and Throttle Quadrant) are not recognized anymore in MSFS2024. Well, they are there. Axes move in Windows. But nil nada niente in 2024?! Calibrating in the ATR not possible. No movements whatsoever. Anybody else? Restart and reinstalling TM driver did not help. EDIT all working in the Pitts Special, just took off KBOS. but still no control Listening in the control setting, no movements there when I move the stick. Strange EDIT2 all also working in the A320v2, though no Reverse Thrust (despite throttle calibrated in the EFB, movements seen there) and again no axes movement in the control listener... will give in for today Edited November 20, 20241 yr by DAD Phil Leaven i5 10600KF, 32 GB 3200 RAM, ASUS 4070 12GB EVO, Asus ROG Z490-H, 2 WD Black NVME for each Win11 (500GB) and MSFS (1TB), Rolling Cache 16GB, Photogrammetry always OFF, Live Weather and Live Traffic always ON, Res 2560x1440 on 27"

November 20, 20241 yr Setting up the controls is pretty much a mini game on its own. Especially since many functions are bugged. Anyone know what file contains one's modified settings? I found the likes of "Gamepad_2024_Planes.xml" and "Keyboard_2024_Planes.xml" but looking in them, they do not contain one's actual settings.
