Every single time: Around 2:15 or 2:20 to main menu, and then another 1:30 - 2 min to get into the plane aafter clicking Fly Now.

Much faster than 2020. And the best part is how fast it is to change planes - you can end the flight, be back in the main menu, and be right back flying in under 5 min. Which is awesome!

Let me guess you are not in  Europe?

I am in the Netherlands, but using a VPN to go via a US server. So far the sim connects very good (today).

Yes this is North America. But you too will have this performance soon - it works, they just need to update the servers in every region.

I confirm less blurrs and connection issues on day 3. Even tested 2 airplanes. Quite good.

PG is still botched though.

After failing to start a flight in the UK all evening, I just connected my VPN to the U.S. and started a flight straight away. Thanks for the idea 🙂

It only downloaded just over 2Gb to start the flight so the available UK server bandwidth must be very low. I have a 1 gb connection.

Same here FlyingScampi. I just grabbed a VPN package that had a good reputation (Nord) but it set me back £98 for 2 year bundle. Apparently the best value. It’s cost me a lot of money as I bought the Aviators edition.

I'm in Europe and it's fast for me to. No longer having bandwidth issues.

The problem for me is now the FPS. Picked the A330 at KJFK and I couldn't get decent performance even if I reduce all my settings to low. When I pan around it's a stuttery mess and vehicles are popping an disappearing as I pan. It's unplayable on big airports

This is also a bandwidth issue. The sim is having trouble loading assets. Try with a VPN or just wait a day or so

I got Proton VPN on a deal last year, I think it was about the same amount.

Hopefully the UK servers will be up to scratch for the weekend 🙂

Yup VPN solves it just now until MS sorts it's server issues out.

Loading times for me really speeded up with my iiNet 200Mbps NBN HFC connection-about under 9 mins for me compared to Wednesday with 30-45 mins.

I don't want to be the Debbie downer here, but.......the load times are going to be a lot quicker without a Community folder full of addons.

There are a few people commenting on the lack of stuttering which might also be the result of running a vanilla sim.
