November 27, 20241 yr ....ie the Steam app which worked extremely well in FS2020 and in which you could set the sim frame rate to a steady 30fps with vertical sync on and the sim would deliver a steady 60fps. Robert Young - retired full time developer - see my Nexus Mod Pageย and my GitHub Mod page
November 27, 20241 yr Yes it works equally as well in MSFS2024. My usage is: 1/2 vsync in sim doubled to 60fps by Lossless Scaling. 60hz desktop.ย Edited November 27, 20241 yr by boez
November 27, 20241 yr Yes its working on my install of Fs2024, although I'm questioning the need for it. My experience of 2024 is very smooth, the only exception is a bit of judder panning around a complex cockpit. My GPU is running hotter in 2024 even using Lossless. ย Regards
November 27, 20241 yr Author Thanks both. I'll try it. Robert Young - retired full time developer - see my Nexus Mod Pageย and my GitHub Mod page
November 27, 20241 yr I use it and it works. I'd advise you to look at the latest patch notes as they updated it. They introduced a new resolution scale and a couple of other things. I noticed that I had to change to "Integer" and go down to X2 as X# was causing artifacts more visible than before. I hope to find a new guide to help with it as it really works well! December 17, 20241 yr I managed to put the settings together in such a way that I achieve a fairly smooth 30 fps without scaling. I fly GA and military jets. Edited December 17, 20241 yr by wiejag
December 18, 20241 yr The x3 multiplier works really well. With my 60Hz monitor and GTX 1660 card, Lossless scaling works great.
December 18, 20241 yr My biggest issue in MSFS2024 is VRAM and how it instantly leads to stutters if full. And as LS uses another 1-2GB VRAM, it certainly is a no-go for me atm, happy with the native FG. Rather recommend using AutoFPS if FPS are an issue on heavy scenarios. December 18, 20241 yr I use it with my 4090 and 144 hz monitor and itโs smooth as hell for me.ย Ron Hamilton ย "95% is half the truth, but most of it is lies, but if you read half of what is written, you'll be okay." __ Honey Boo Boo's Mom

December 18, 20241 yr My only problem is that it often freezes the computer. MSFS is still running, but I loose total access. ย Ron MSFS 2024 -Too many airplanes to name. Too many airports to name.
December 18, 20241 yr Works great for me.ย And yes the sim runs fairly well without it, but great with it.ย No brainer to run.ย
December 18, 20241 yr I've never used it; but I've read that accessing another windowed application (BATC, FS2Crew, FSLTL, etc.) disables Lossless Scaling in the sim.ย Is that true?
