November 28, 20241 yr ... these connection issues. The game loads fine and quick but when I just launched a flight I'm gazing at the spinning circle. It worked fine this morning. Yesterday I had the same issue twice and on the second time it happened, just hitting ESC and then relaunch the flight it would connect and I could have ago. But now, I'm looking at that dreadful spinning white circle again. Stopping, re-loading, quitting to desktop and re-starting does not get me into a flight either. I want to have a flight going to test my control setup but M$ just says no. 😡😡😡 Win11 Pro 64-bit, Ryzen 5800X3D, Corsair H115i, Gigabyte X570S UD, EVGA 3080Ti XC3 Ultra 12GB, 64 GB DDR4 G.Skill 3600. November 28, 20241 yr Spinning white circle, wasn't that casued by addons? Microsoft are evening disabling non-plane addons while they identify marketplace addons that cause issues. November 28, 20241 yr Author Usually 1 to 2 minutes, mostly it loads even faster. Once it goes beyond a minute or 5 I call it a day and quit, I just find that unacceptable because you'll never know if it will load eventually. Just re-launched the sim, now the flight did load without a problem, around a minute. Wow, 5 9's is the equivalent of less than 6 minutes downtime per year and outside of 6 nines which is almost unattainable expect in manufacturing (6 is less than 1 minute of your services not being available all year) it would appear it's a bit early for those kind of statements. I mean 5 nines is essentially the gold standard for availability so they are claiming MSFS is in the realms of the most available services in the world after a week? I thought Azure's SLA's were 3 9's to be honest and that would be the determining factor. Have a Wonderful Day -Paul Solk

November 28, 20241 yr I too purchased the Standard Edition, because I was very sceptical about it ... Fortunately after the first 3 days I didn't have any additional quirks with loading and running FS 2024, other than the initial loading screen witch takes a bit to load... Very stable, and I'd say smoother overall than FS 2020, even with it's higher level of scenery and weather depiction details. I rate FS 2024 even above my previously preferred flight simulator in terms of gameplay, which was MS FLIGHT ( I still miss MS FLIGHT, just as I do FLIGHT UNLIMITED 3, and even PROPILOT 99 ..., Airline Simulator 2 and Flight Assignment ATP Rev. D ). At lunch time today, I skipped the eating part and replaced it by a desktop session 🙂 Flew around Cascais ( LPCS ) and it's simply UNBELIEVABLE the level of detail I can get without my FPS ever dropping from 30 - which I set through Riva Tuner - or experiencing stutters !!! November 28, 20241 yr I get the spinning white circle problem when I load at a gate at Gatwick, but it works fine when I load in a general aviation parking spot. Fenix A320. Why is there a problem loading at a gate? Edited November 28, 20241 yr by NightOfDreams
