December 1, 20241 yr Author How many users are using default navdata? I'm wondering if a yearly navdata subscription is needed to ensure stability. I got a couple of ctds along the same route (KLGA-KBOS) right after the last msfs navdata update. Had not ha a CTD in a long time. I tried the flight without FSHUD and no CTD. I'm also wondering where is the FSHUD folder with the installation files located? I found on in program files. I'm looking for a doc or user folder. Thanks. MSFS
December 1, 20241 yr By any chance is FSHUD using UTC time for generating flightplans? Did 2 flights from KMIA-KEWR the past two nights. Both left around 6:30pm EST or 23:30 UTC. Other than parked aircraft at each airport I had 0 for Active planes from take off to touchdown. I would expect some traffic but if FSHUD is looking for flightplans at 23:30 to 0:100am then I could see why there would be no traffic. Today I did the same flight at 10:30am EST or 15:30 UTC and had 40 Active aircraft as well as the 50 parked. Just wondering if the traffic generation is based on local time or UTC? Maybe @FSHud can chime in and answer a few questions for us. Such as, where is the user's manual? Edited December 1, 20241 yr by CFIJose MSFS

Hi there, All times in FSHud are taken from UTC time in Simulator.
December 2, 20241 yr Last two flights I've done I've seen zero traffic in the simulator with AIG either....not sure whats going on or why that might be. Occured after the most recent update. Kael Oswald 9950X3D/ 64GB DDR5 6200 @ CL30 / Custom Water Loop / RTX 5090 / 3 x 48" LG C4 OLEDs

Occured after the most recent update. Unless I am missing something I think this could be a major issue and why some of us are not seeing traffic, especially on night flights. FSHUD needs to be using local times. I departed KMIA at 01:30 and landed at KEWR at 03:45 UTC. I had zero traffic the entire flight because FSHUD thinks it is 2am and there are no flights out of KMIA or KEWR at 2am... However if FSHUD was using local time there are a ton of flights between 20:30 and 22:45... All of the International flights should be departing.... I guess this means back to manually launching AIGTC if using FSHUD at night... 46 minutes ago, CFIJose said: I've been using only FSLTL & Injector and I see and hear the AI traffic chatter. What time were your flights in UTC? My flight in the middle of the UTC day had plenty of traffic but my night flights in EST which is the middle of the night in UTC had none... Right, but FSHUD is using the UTC time of the sim. Try that same flight at say 10pm local time middle of the night UTC and see if the traffic is still there. This would confirm my guess that we aren't seeing traffic in EST because the FSHUD is basing it off UTC time of the sim to it is looking for traffic at 3 am UTC.... My "guess" is you will see parked traffic but not active. Edited December 2, 20241 yr by psolk Have a Wonderful Day -Paul Solk

December 2, 20241 yr Hmm. I got FSHud early on and wasn't too enthusiastic about it back then. I followed the development with interest but had troubles joining beta (some problem related to Flight1's app, I think). So I waited patiently until the new version got out of beta, only to discover that I will have to pay an upgrade fee to use it. Time to jump ship. Peter

I was able to update to 2.0 at no charge, it looks like the cost is to upgrade to 2024... Have a Wonderful Day -Paul Solk
