I love FSHud, works flawlessly in MSFS2020 & MSFS2024 for me. I can use AIG Traffic without the use of the “Traffic Manager” (Not needed), FSHud handles that and controls all Traffic movement too.

Does it work with button control?

Have they added pushbacks yet? Or do they still just teleport/do a 360 no scope and start immediately taxiing from the park position?

Pushback is part of 2025 roadmap - because it requires additional airport mappings (part of airport configuration feature).
In some cases it can end-up to pushback into the grass area or hangar.

Yes,
You can map keys and joystick buttons.

It will allow many things including approach type prioritization.

This is great. I got tired of waiting for other ATC addons to implement at least somewhat realistic airport flows/procedures, so the fact that we will be able to customize this ourselves is awesome.

Just another question - what navdata does FSHud use? Is it the navdata within the sim, or does it have its own nav database?

It uses Navigraph, as long as you have an active subscription. When it expires, it defaults back to an older AIRAC (I guess it was 2201 or 2301). That's the only reason why I keep a Navigraph navdata subscription, instead of doing a once-yearly update.

Unlike other addons, FSHud doesn't allow you to keep the latest AIRAC you had access to (sadly 😢). That's their biggest drawback for me.

Does it have its own database like some 3rd party aircraft do that gets updated through the Navigraph Hub, or does it just use the base Navigraph navdata?

The DB is stored in FSHud servers, if I understand correctly. That means you don't have to use Navigraph Hub for updating, FSHud does it by itself.

My only problem with FSHUD is that I have to have an active Navigraph subscription for it to work 😞

I sometimes don't, so, I can't use FSHUD ....

BATC and AFAIK SI use SimBrief but don not require active Navigraph subscriptions.

This will be changed very soon (before roadmap 2025 will start to come out).

There will be a mode to improt Navigraph NavData files - which doesn't change until your decision.
This option will be additional to existing option (when FSHud updates NavData by subscription).

These are good news, @FSHud! Looking forward to them.

Will there also be an option to read the MSFS 2024 NavData for those that do not wish to have a Navigraph subscription?
