(We then can edit the taxiways ourselves easily, and crowdsource fixes for broken ai nodes in sceneries) We'll have to wait and see what's actually delivered in terms of airport editing, of course, but I have the impression from previous comments from FSHud that we won't actually be able to 'fix' taxiways that are broken or disconnected, but we will be able to change their identification among other things to avoid taxiway instructions that might say 'via C C1 C C2 C', and replace them with just 'C'. I just hope no-one is being too optimistic about the upcoming feature. Ian Box

Even scenery greats such as Flightbeam does not put enough stock into making sure Ai nodes are complete / working.

Probably, at some stage - there will be ability to create kind of "virtual" taxiway which is basically a path that is only visible for FSHud and allows user/traffic to bypass on it. Of course it should somehow match the scenery and visuals up to user/editor responsibility.

I just hope no-one is being too optimistic about the upcoming feature. I have found the taxiway instructions will update if I take the taxi path I choose when FSHud sends me on a scenic tour of the airport but I would be happy if I can just do what I was able to in PF3 which was dictate runway usage, close specific runways if necessary. That alone would be a decent step 1 for myself personally. I loved that in PF3 I could set 04l/22R as departure only and 22L/04R as arrival only at KEWR. Even that level of control would be appreciated. For now though I do like that if I disagree with FSHUD I can just do what I like and it will automatically follow me and update. Not realistic of course but also means I don't "have" to do what FSHud says or it will just break entirely, it's intelligent enough to recalculate on the fly if need-be Edited October 22, 2025Oct 22 by psolk Have a Wonderful Day -Paul Solk
October 22, 2025Oct 22 Ah that’s a shame. Really took the wind out of my sails! Oh well. Guess Si will continue to have that advantage 😞 — I can’t edit my original comment unfortunately. Only hope now to fix these is if someone knows how to edit these nodes. There is a bloke on Flightsim.to that does fixes but all attempts to have him share his process has gone without response 😭 Edited October 22, 2025Oct 22 by UAL4life

October 24, 2025Oct 24 Hi there, I did put in a support ticket on this issue several days back but didn't yet get a response so I thought I'd try here again. I have continued to get the flickering on my iphone, using as an external device. After a few flickers of loading it, I get the message of "a problem repeatedly occurred." I have followed the instructions and ideas from this thread as well as reviewed the documentation but still seem to be getting this issue. Here are steps I've taken: 1. Latest FSHud 2.0.312. Installed and also removed / reinstalled as well but no effect. 2. Latest MSFS 2024 SU4 beta. 3. I have updated FSLTL to latest version 4. Sim traffic in FSHUD set to Enable, AIG selected Sorry, I have been trying the tips I've seen but somehow can't get it to work on my phone as an external device. It was working brilliantly for about 2 weeks but then I think some kind of update happened and it isn't working anymore. Suggestions please? AMD 5830X Nvidia RTX 3060 Win 11

Its actually pretty fit for purpose, my only desire is that you allow the importation of the scenery for each airport (weather its default or third party) as a starting point for people to customize the layout for FSHud to work from. Hello, First of all we didn't get any ticket about this issue (please double check on your side again). In any case - try to open the panel from local computer in browser, another computer and another phone/tablet which will narrow the problem to possible factors like Firewall, LAN settings, VPN, Antivirus, incorrect port and so on. Thank you

That goes without saying, as FSHud already gets the current airport layout from MSFS (default or add-on) to determine the taxiways etc. Editing will surely just be added as an option on top of that. Yeah you'd think that would be common sense....but SayIntentions refuse to accept its a feature worthy of introducing for their TaxiTuner.... I tried the suggestion of using different devices--worked perfectly on my ipad and works fine on my pc browser too, but still no luck with my iphone. It did work until a couple of weeks ago on my iphone (Iphone 16 ProMax, latest updates in place on IOS), so something has changed it seems. Appreciative of your help and what suggestions you may have on this. Thank you. AMD 5830X Nvidia RTX 3060 Win 11
November 3, 2025Nov 3 I bought FSHud during their Halloween sale. Here are my impressions: 1. The Good - easy setup - let's you change all the departure, arrival and approach parameters, even on the fly - worked for all phases of flight, until..... 2. The Bad -....I wanted to fly a simple ILS-approach in non-mountaineous territory, at which point FSHud vectored me all over the place. Had to fly the approach myself. 3. More of the good: FSHud picked me up after touchdown, and gave me good taxi instructions to an appropriate parking spot for GA aircraft. 4. Neutral - voices are serviceable but not great - didn't notice any impact on performance

Had to fly the approach myself. Did you have AI traffic in the area. FSHud will try to separate you from traffic, firstly by requesting you and the traffic to fly at specific speeds. If that doesn't achieve the required separation it will vector you as required. If you believe the vectoring was erroneous you should capture a screen shot of your FSHud window (both comms and map) and submit a ticket. That will allow the developer to examine the logs to identify the problem. Ian Box
