December 3, 20241 yr The official forums are very quite for now regarding the imminent (or not...) release of WU19 covering mainly Brazil (POI's plus 3 handcrafted airports, including SBRJ Santos Dumont). Will it be released today Dec. 3, as originally scheduled?. December 3, 20241 yr I feel like it would be all hands on deck on 2024 at the moment but we shall see I suppose! Isn't there a dev stream this week as well or soon? Maybe it will be mentioned then if it doesn't come out. December 3, 20241 yr WU19 is a compromise, they will leave the South Americans for the last area of FS2020. Currently it is impractical to simulate in FS2024, please Microsoft.
December 3, 20241 yr World Update: Brazil will not be coming out today, however Jorg will provide more information on this in tomorrow’s Dev Stream. December 3, 20241 yr I'm excited about the Brazil WU. I do wonder if it's needed in 2024 or if it's built in. For example in the MSFS2024 into vid there is a pic of the Cristo Redentor / Sugarloaf Mountain, and it looks pretty good there...I'm wondering if this *is* the Brasil WU put into MSFS2024 by default? You can be disappointed and/or laugh of course.. but if they did release today, you know there's going to a certain sect in this forum who'd rant and rave even more that MS/Asobo chose to focus on releasing the Brazil WU rather than focusing on 2024 issues right? 🙂 Len 1980s: Sublogic FS II on C64 ---> 1990s: Flight Unlimited I/II, MSFS 95/98 ---> 2000s/2010s: FS/X, P3D, XP ---> 2020+: MSFS Current system: i9 13900K, RTX 4090, 64GB DDR5 4800 RAM, 4TB NVMe SSD

December 4, 20241 yr Already had SBRJ (from Paulo Ricardo), and some nice sceneries for São Paulo, Florianópolis and the Iguazú area (all parts of Brazil I've been IRL). Yeah, I know Brazil is a lot bigger... but also full of talented developers that couldn't wait and started adding airports and landmarks by themselves. What would Asobo add, if they happen to keep their promise?
