And fuel usage increases accordingly, yes? x4 would be kind of interesting to know, so if anyone else has tried that, please let me know.

Fenix x4 works fine for me by the way, used it about 5 times since it was introduced.

Of course .Everything's increasing accordingly. This is a sim feature that is not restricted to a specific addon. Perhaps you have better frames which is essential if you want stability with time acceleration. PMDG has a smarter way of going about it - they slow down before reaching critical points ( TOD, sharp turns etc. ) and accelerate again once they passed them.

I can check how stable x4  is if you wish but I find the "jump ahead" feature more useful TBH.

Maybe it is. Does it also jump ahead the in-sim time? I'm a bit sceptical MSFS can handle such things well

For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.

Judging from the P3D version, the answer is yes: sim time, fuel on board, and elapsed time are also updated after "jumping ahead".

Yes, it does!

It has its own “jump ahead” function so that it not only teleports to any waypoint in the plan but also sets you there with the predicted weight, fuel ,altitude and so on.

Thanks! This sealed my purchase decision. Luckily i didnt buy fenix expansion pack.

So, I tested x4 and it seems very stable. I'm also told by the beta testers that this was tested by them as well.

I will definitely take a look at the NEO once it’s out. Let’s see if development speed improves or is it’s still waiting-years-for-Sharklets speed. I find it important to see if FSL is actually focused on MSFS and it’s not some side project. And they need to improve communications. A lot. Let’s see if they finally adapt to the new reality of MSFS

I will also wait for  NEO

Having done some circuits. The FSLabs feels nicer to land in 2020 compared to the Fenix, does not have the high float. To me the braking with use of the autobreak which has two settings seems to slow down more slowly compared to the Fenix. Textures on the outside from my POV seem decent enough seems part could be improved but it could also be the livery issue. G-EUXC for instance nose cone has some jagged edges.  The biggest problems I faced which was noted by others on the forum. Is getting the FSLabs data to connect to the sim. I believe this is now solved or will be in the next update. Then the last update to do with the Navigraph I believe wouldn't allow me to use the MCDU to enter flight plan etc. The support team have been great at sorting these issues out. Sounds are subjective to people in my opinion they need some work personally feel not enough bass and bit too quiet.

You can customise weights for different companies, aircraft's which is another nice feature. I have really enjoyed the MEL/Failures adding realism and having to check the MEL, QRH PDF. I don't typically like having failures on by default but with the FSLabs Its something I can't get rid of.

I feel some of the GSX integration like customising aircraft etc if possible could be put into the EFB. Along with throttle calibration could be put into the EFB it took some fiddling to get it to where I liked. I quite like the way iniBuilds do it.

I have not managed to complete an a-b flight yet due to trouble with the software when I first got. I did do a short stream explaining what I liked and disliked and show cased the features. I don't use time acceleration or the jump ahead feature so can't comment on that. Personally for the price It should of been released with a detailed cabin especially when you've seen what other devs have done.

As I'm learning the aircraft, I changed the failure rate on the MCDU 'SERVICE BASED FAILURES' page from 'mtbf' to 'none'. Are you referring to something else?

This is what I’m referring to.

Sounds great.
