apparently fsuipc-ivar-module might be causing the A300 parking freezing. I'll test later after this flight

Ah aha. Indeed FSUIPC can cause a conflict.
A number of our testers reported that once they migrated to the latest FSUIPC beta, the issues subsided.

Great news. One of my best planes in 2020.

I bought the enhanced version and took it for a short freight hop last night, SDF-CLE (both working well in FS24 as far as I could tell BTW).

After landing I opened the door and went down on the tarmac to watch them unload my plane.  I get that I could have done something similar with the drone cam in 2020 but there was definitely something cool about walking around the plane I had just flown and watching the GSX ramp workers do their thing.

Did an MSFS202 TPA-ATL run last night in the post update PW engined FedEx. Looking good. Didn't switch off and fall out of the sky and everything worked as advertised.

Except ...... the darned ATC voice is still muted on the receiving end ...  🤬..

It brings a lot of questions:

* is the premium upgrade worth it?

It's a personal choice of course but just the native 2024 FM and ground handling features adoption alone makes the nominal cost well worth it for me (see below), and I'd hope all aircraft devs do similar improvements.

Flight Model Updates:

  • Improved Ground Handling: Dynamic wheel deformation now responds to the aircraft's weight, simulating realistic tire pressure and load distribution.
  • Enhanced Aerodynamics: Updated fuselage and engine modeling improves airflow accuracy, especially in challenging crosswinds.
  • Drag Profile Adjustments: Improved drag behavior across all phases of flight for more precise handling, particularly during approach.

I was unable to add liveries via the manager. I click upon update and nothing happens.

If you add a new livery why is there an "Update" button? There should be an "install" button. Update shows only up for already installed liveries.

You must be looking at the MS2020 Liveries instead of the 2024 ones.

Ditto.  At least yesterday it was for me.  Also, my cockpit cameras all exit the cockpit and pan the outside.  Anyone else?

My money is on a rogue peripheral.

Save your money. All my other CC’s function flawlessly and I have dozens including every airliner in production for MSFS excluding one, the FSL a321.

Thanks tho.

Have you downloaded any other liveries from INI for FS2024?

I ask because when I first went to download liveries for the A330 the same thing happened.  Turbs out I had to go into the settings and manually specify where my community folder was.  All worked well after that.

I'm glad I didn't pay for the upgraded a300. The free upgrade one gave me a WASM crash 3 hours into a flight. I'm done with the INI planes in 2024. There is some thing the sim and INI planes that is devilish.

Just because the free one crashed doesn't mean the paid upgrade will. the paid upgrade is rebuilt for 2024.

There's plenty of people who haven't gotten crashes.

Oh I know. I've gotten WASM crashes the (new) INI 24 airplanes as well. I'm gonna try a reinstall of the sim, but I'm gun shy at this point.

I've just had an amazingly bad run the last few days.

Edit: Given your comments about it being a new plane, I did pony up just in case.

I got it today and have has 3 crashes in the last few hours with it, and performance seems to really take a hit. I am a little concerned about this one
