Looking forward to this one and hopefully since it sounds like some level of time acceleration compatibility is coming, they’ll be able to do the same on their other long haul aircraft.

Wow. The amount of detail and functionality makes me think that this add-on might mark Inibuilds as officially reaching "big league" tier level along the likes of Fenix or PMDG.

While I always welcome new makers, not sure if we should start comparing Inibuilds, which up until now, have made sceneries and mostly small aircraft, with the likes of Fenix and PMDG, which only make aircraft. Yes, they have A300, but these are not in the league of Fenix or PMDG (no, I don't own them, based on what I read). Now, they might step up with A350, but alone the graphics in the cockpit are worse and plastic than any other airliner addon I have seen. Even FSLabs, whose graphics are just secondary, primary being the systems modelling.

They don't have an Embraer. The only payware airliner they've released, is as you've said the A300.

But they've also made an A320Neo, A321Neo, A330-200/300/P2F, A400M, and the BelugaXL as default aircraft for 2024 which are all really excellent aircraft.

Indeed, sorry for the mixup.

idk I'm comparing it to real photos of the A350 I've found online and think it looks accurate.

My only real nitpick is that I'm not sure why we need a simulated flight attendant panel?

Wow, if you thought that 2024 was a great year for flightsim, next year's going to be even better.

I'm really looking forward to the A350 as well as the Boeing 757 and 767 coming (hopefully)!

It's looking really good.  They still aren't answering about some basic navigation capabilities though.  I had to bump my thread in their forums, but I doubt they'll answer about RNP-AR (APP-DES).

Still a wait and see, I guess.

These things (especially the advanced approach modes) are must haves for me to consider this product. And it needs to be reliable in execution as well.

The pudding looks good but does it taste as good as it looks?

we will see once released… staying firmly off the hype train nowadays. Every product will have to demonstrate their functionality when released.

The feature list and simulation depth looks to be very detailed so I'm all for them taking all the time they need, especially as they are developing two code branches in parallel for both MSFS 2020 and 2024.

Given what they've shown in the A300-600 (especially with the latest 2024 premium edition), they are more than capable of developing a deeply simulated aircraft as the other big devs (Fenix, PMDG, etc) IMO, so I'm certain they're going to try and make a statement with the A350 since it's their first modern payware airliner release. It'll also be a first for specific features/aspects since they are unique to the A350.

As someone else said above, 2025 looks to be another banner year for flight simming and very likely will top this one, and with MSFS 2024's rough edges hopefully being smoothed out by then Q1'25 and beyond can't come soon enough.

The iniBuilds A350 electrical and system simulations showcase a remarkable level of detail and realism:

  • Electrical Bus Simulation: Over 80 electrical buses are accurately modeled, replicating the real A350's behavior. For instance, pressing BAT 1 powers minimal components, but activating BAT 1 EMER or BAT 2 EMER progressively powers more systems. Even subtle details like partial dome light activation based on the specific buses are faithfully represented.
  • 🪫Dynamic Load Computation: The system calculates real electrical loads dynamically. This can be demonstrated by showing the AC page, then turning off the GALLEY or COMMERCIAL switches, resulting in visibly reduced load readings.
  • 🔋Battery Options: The simulation includes both NiCad and Lithium battery options, with differing capacities. Swapping to Lithium batteries via the EFB reflects the 45 amp-hour capacity on the DC page, where the charging process is displayed in real-time. The changes also extend to 3D art changes on the aircraft, and this level of detail will be available throughout many of the options available to you.
  • 🔉Noise-Optimized N1 Settings: The aircraft allows configuration of a specific N1 for low-noise areas (e.g., 85% N1). When climbing, this setting changes the FMA to indicate "THR NOISE 80% N1," and upon reaching the target altitude, it transitions back to "THR CLB*."

Yeah, you would think they would have 'all' the approach modes considering some of the really advanced features they trying to simulate like the ''what if' flight plan is planned on being there.  I mean, I guess I've seen stranger, but it would really seem weird not the be able to RNP after all the stuff they already have appeared to have done.

Oh I’ve seen it. A whole ton of advanced features modeled to the nth degree yet no RNAV or FLS to be found.

IIRC the A320Neo V2 they made for Microsoft can do some sort of RNP approach (so I assume their other Airbus aircraft in 2024 can as well). idk what it is, I've never done one.

One thing we do know they've said is that it won't be Navigraph Navdata updatable.  Not sure it will be that big of a deal for the 350 so long as Navigraph is available for 24 by then, so it overwrites the sim's navdata anyways.

One interesting thing I saw was GLS as an option.  Not sure why you would have to turn that on in the EFB.

Yeah, I haven't done an approach in their default 320 and 330 series to see how faithful "FINAL APP" mode is modelled.  I believe they managed it though.

The 350 doesn't have that mode.  It has "APP DES" "NAV" with L/DEV and V/DEV for RNP-AR.  The 380 just has FLS of course.  No RNP capability.

Either way, I'm sure they're well capable of modelling it though given what we've seen already.

I just got this from their FAQs page for A350 :

"Will the A350 have the FLS landing system - Yes the A350 will be fitted with FLS as modern family Airbus aircraft only use the XLS concept with FINAL APP not being used anymore."

So I am assuming they have simulated some sort of FLS system. Hopefully we should know more soon.
