Any words on a time compression feature? If not, I will pass this one, not going to fly long haul in realtime...

I just got this from their FAQs page for A350 :

"Will the A350 have the FLS landing system - Yes the A350 will be fitted with FLS as modern family Airbus aircraft only use the XLS concept with FINAL APP not being used anymore."

So I am assuming they have simulated some sort of FLS system. Hopefully we should know more soon.

Yes, saw that a while ago.  The 350 does both FLS and APP DES.  You can't do RNP-AR with FLS.  It has to be with APP DES.  The 350 does both.  I believe it's selectable in the APPR page of the MCDU somewhere.  I can't remember right off.

In any case, we know Ini's 350 does FLS.  That doesn't answer the question of does it ALSO do APP DES.   They only gave us 1 half of the capabilities.

Not yet. IIRC they said they wanted to wait until the aircraft was close to release so they'd have close to final performance numbers.

It is not mentioned anywhere so I don't think the latter is simulated which is a shame, They might add it though as a future update.

I hope some kind of virtual FO system will be included for those who want a little extra realism. There are so many amazing and detailed features included with the aircraft. I think adding a virtual FO to run checklists and procedures with would be the icing on the cake.

Wow. The amount of detail and functionality makes me think that this add-on might mark Inibuilds as officially reaching "big league" tier level along the likes of Fenix or PMDG.

It will probably be better than anything PMDG has released.

I am looking forward to the A350 release - we haven't seen any developers making A350 in the past (For at least on legacy sims FSX/P3D, I know there is one for Xplane but I haven't used it so can't say) so I am keen to see what inibuilds will bring to the table. From my experience of flying their A300 - I think it will be worth every penny. A350 is just a robust and unique airplane - can do both either short haul or long haul. Range of the aircraft is also quite impressive - 8200 NM for A350-900 (Non LR) and 8900 NM for A350-1000, that's further then what B77W can fly. Of course one the cons is it does not carry as much payload as B77W but in the sim it does not matter either.

and they'll also add the ULR variant some time after launch for free.

I am so happy they walked back their “2024 only” stance for their 350. Now if only PMDG does the same. Though I think more people are realizing that 2024 is fundamentally broken.

I’m really looking forward to this but my only hold back is that airbus flying somehow always feels like every tv big is so automated that there is t much to do….been enjoying the RJ and Boeings for this reason. But I think the A350 is so incredible for the tech.

just imagine if inibuilds had been given  half a million euros from the german tax payer.

To be fair, by the time PMDG releases their next aircraft 2024 may actually be in a better position than it is now lmao

Also depends on what you meant 'fundamentally broken'. I've done dozens of airliner flights since launch, that part of the sim is fine.

I hope IniBuilds knocks this one for a Six. By far my favorite Airbus, and one I am looks very much forward to…

Just accept PMDG is now a mid Teir Developer and they have not been on top of the Pedestal since P3D
