  • No. Zibo's FM is quite customized by means of a plugin in order to attain book values within the 738's flight envelope. Back in XP11, it also worked arounnd a few X-Plane limitations and bugs, but I d

I really have to give the LevelD a new try.

Apparently the quirks with picth instability have been addressed with the latest patch ?

Flying gliders since 1980

Flightsimming since 1992

Yes last patching was amazing. I fly the -900 and those problems are gone.

System Spec 2: AMD Radeon RX 7900XT, Intel I-9 9990K, Res 3840x1080, HP Reverb G2

So basically this is a LevelUp blended with the Zibo B737-800 mod. Seems to work for me ok with the patch. Picked out the short 600 and the 700 but have the 800 via Zibo and LR so that left the 900 series. So the question is now as ZIBO update and improve which they will - carry over to the LevelUP? or wait and see? Liveries were a pain via the LevelUp site (even as a member) guess we shall see what the uptake is like from here!

Oh you have to be a Boeing fan I guess - for that I am stuck in the past with the IXEG 300 series or the Felis 747-200 or Sparky's 400. Given I like to keep to my own little world of OZ and the Pacific that reins in the choices easily.

Give them points for doing this!

Tried the -900, but got really weird behaviour with a slightly more intense x-wind... Nothing special. but during the takeoff run I wasn't able to steer it along the centreline with the rudder 😕

From LevelUp's Discord server:

Quote

Question: How frequent will the updates be?

Answer: For LevelUp specific items, this boils down to the team's availability in their own spare time.

The release of Update 1 means that all planes brought feature parity to the latest Zibomod.

You may now also drop most Zibomod updates straight into the LevelUp planes just like how you'd update your Zibo 737-800X - this is through dragging and dropping ONLY the:
"Plugins" and "cockpit_3d"
folders into the main aircraft folder.

For any other changes on the Zibo 737-800X such as flight model/.acf, 3D, HUD, FMOD Sounds - LevelUp will issue a bespoke update as the standard update package won't be compatible.

My add-ons from my FS9/FSX days

  • 1 month later...

I have to say that the 1.0.3 version is DRAMATICALLY better than when I first tried the release. It has now completely replaced the original Zibo in my fleet and I am keeping it updated with the newest Zibo versions on the backend. The latest release yesterday from Zibo allows step climbs too! (A big deal to me). I can't wait for their MAX lineup! If you haven't tried 1.0.3, I highly recommend it with the newest Zibo backbone (make sure to ONLY copy the two folders in the Plugins folder of Zibo, not the rest as it will break your LevelUp install)...

Oh, also... The Airside Services on everythiing but the -800 now work for cargo and passenger loading too. Zibo only loads fuel, but you had to update the cargo and passengers via Weight and Balance. But the new -600, -700, and -900 variants all work properly when loading in that regard.

I used Orbx central to upgrade and problem is it erases my custom cameras 😞  .
