Me think the OP's question was 2024 NATIVE aircraft. And that's what @Tim-HH correctly stated are only the mentioned ones above (payware A300, T33, J3 Cub plus the free Fouga Glider ). There are a lot of 2020 compatible mode aircraft around but they all will not use 2024 native features, though they will benefit from the base sim changes like smooth transition between ground and flight etc.  All this 2024 "updated" aircraft run still in 2020 compatibility mode. They will usually be the same for 2020 and 2024 like all three FSReborn, Flysimware 414 and Lear, the A2A Comanche, Cows Diamond etc etc...

There are several planes that do 'work' in 24 and as far as I can tell, perfectly.

1: A2A Comanche. albeit with a couple of rivets out of place.

2: As ByronB (how often are you called Bryon?)said SWS 414

3: Got Friends Wilga. Faultless. If you haven't got it, get it.

3 Blacksquare Bonanza, Piston Duke (Turbine Duke as well but I don't care for it. Never have)

4: SWS vans RVs

5: Ant's Tiger Moth

I know they are mostly straight port overs with possible only SWS making the effort (Can you sense me floundering here?)

Sorry if I haven't mentioned any airliners. I had a try at an airliner once and the chap trying to school me in the use of all those switches and buttons, traumatised me. Never got in another one.

Carry on chaps. 🤣

Shall we file that under 'Works OK for me' or 'Buggered if I know!'

Speaking of the RV's,  the TDS in the RV-8 is dark for me but it works perfectly in the RV-14. You'd think if it would work in one it would work in the other. Is it bright for anyone else?

Except the T33 and the Cub these are all 2020 planes, no ports. Me think there is sometimes still a bit of misunderstanding about 2020 compatibility mode and 2024 native planes. All these planes like A2A, SWS, FSW, FSReborn etc are just still 2020 planes, even compiled in 2020 if they use wasm, nothing more. Some will have some slight updates that will workaround some issues like the instrument brightness (built in or manually added like on the Comanche) etc but will work nonetheless exactly in 2020 and 2024.

Yes, confirmed. Unless Asobo fixes the underlying issue you will have to wait for the Dev issue some hotfix as a workaround. That's effecting most 2020 compatibility planes atm unless the dev didn't took care already.

As I mentioned it works and is perfectly bright in the RV-14, by the same developer so I'm guessing that whatever they did to make it work there, they forgot to do for the 8.

Yes its known bug within SWS. You can actually try the glass cockpit version of the RV-8 and there the TDS will be bright as usual.

I've had a look at the T33 (I'm swayed) the DA-42 (I feel I should be swayed Diamond a/c always seem a bit 'clinical' to me) The Cub? Looks very attractive (very swayed) I've yet to see a proper review.

Same issue here, and SWS is aware..

I settled for the 2024 specific Classic Aeroplanes Piper Cub. Can now see why there's no review of it! It shows how brilliant the A2A Cub was even all that time ago. Anyway, nothing ventured, nothing gained.

I took Ant's Tiger Moth up directly afterwards. Different planet. As is GAS Stearman. Both of which work very well in ~24.

Now where did I put my tin hat?

I must admit that I was curiously underwhelmed by the Cub - though not entirely shure why (lack of Heidi maybe LOL!).

Ant's aircraft are always great, IMHO - and the Tiger Moth is no exception. I've also been enjoying the GAS Stearman. I suppose if I choose to go low, slow and vintage then these two get the nod over the Cub.

The cub is superb.  Great sounds flight model and special features, like the ability to hand prop for startup.  There's also floats options.

I feel exactly the same way. It’s one of my absolute favorite planes for flying low and slow  into very short strips such as Idaho and Parallel 42 sceneries. It’s a visceral experience, truly stick and rudder flying. The underpowered engine makes you really have to consider how you’re flying the plane in areas with varied elevations. The absence of flaps provides the opportunity for practicing forward slips to increase drag and reduce airspeed! And like the real J-3, the lack of strong breaks can really let you make use of that free turning caster tailwheel on short landings.  There are a lot of nice touches that aren’t documented so check out a review video. For instance, grab the front passenger with your mouse and you can move her to see the gauges or out the front window.
