January 15, 20251 yr Hmm, I saw this some time ago and perhaps didn’t give it the attention that perhaps it deserves. Having looked closer, it seems to offer something I’ve wanted for some time. To have all the cabin announcements play throughout the flight without any intervention from myself, would be awesome. Is anyone using this app? Is it any good? Edit: just seen the pricing options! Might have to rethink 😒 Edited January 15, 20251 yr by Rocky_53 HowardMSI Mag B650 Tomahawk MB, Ryzen7-7800X3D CPU@5ghz, Arctic AIO II 360 cooler, Nvidia RTX4090 GPU, 32gb DDR5@6000Mhz, SSD/2Tb+SSD/500Gb+OS, Corsair 1000W PSU, LG Ultragear 48"4K, MFG Crosswinds, TQ6 Throttle, Fulcrum One YokeMy FlightSim YouTube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/@skyhigh776
January 16, 20251 yr I suggest 'Entourage' from the folks at SayIntentions.AI. It is AI base, meaning all announcements are customized to your flight, i.e. airline, departure, arrival airport, weather etc. Highly recommended. I never checked out Cabby, so I can not commend on that! https://www.sayintentions.ai/entourage

One question: this Entuorage app only provides intercoms for ramp-ops or simulates for all the services jetway, loading, boarding, fueling, catering on the ground like GSX?

January 16, 20251 yr Self Loading Cargo (SLC) isn't too bad, and can be automated to a reasonable extend so you don't need to actually control the announcements. It also has a reasonable level of interaction with GSX. I do find it a little bit buggy and its largely predictable and totally scripted so you'll always know what is going to be said. That said, it does add a layer of immersion that I like. I'm interested in SI entourage and like the AI potential of it....would like to see some good interaction with GSX and the aircraft though (i.e. closing doors when certain events occur, pushback automated or linked to an event etc) Kael Oswald 9950X3D/ 64GB DDR5 6200 @ CL30 / Custom Water Loop / RTX 5090 / 3 x 48" LG C4 OLEDs
January 16, 20251 yr So I checked the website and read the docs, I really can't see why this is $34. Not to mention a $14 subscription fee (ontop of the initial $34) if you want the AI voices. There doesn't seem to be any kind of crew or passenger dashboard like you get with the likes of SLC or PACX which are both significantly cheaper and offer what this $34 package does. It looks more to be a flight tracker with the added premium of AI cabin crew announcements. Unfortunately cost prohibitive imo, for what you get.

January 16, 20251 yr I use Cabby and like it. I've used SLC in the past as well, and like Cabby better. You don't have to do the subscription. You lose out on some customization from what I recall, but the main program functions fine without it. You get boarding messages, cabin crew preparation for takeoff, announcements about refreshments, cruising altitude, seat belts, descent, "welcome to xxxx airport" upon landing, etc. It is pretty good with some random announcements here and there. A new feature they recently added is the option to have major cities called out as you cruise over them. You can customize your airline name, pilot and co-pilot's names (which will be added as part of the announcement(s). $34 does seem like a bit for this program, but I must say it is pretty good. I'm not dis-satisfied. I'm more dis-satisfied when I fly a cargo flight (via Neofly) and don't have the need to use cabin announcements 😉 Another thing I'll add is the developer is very involved with the community. Much of the communication is on discord, and he typically responds very quickly. Normally within minutes if not an hour or two and corrects issues quickly. Edited January 16, 20251 yr by billkirk8888

However, I notice the basic model doesn’t include premium voices. What are the basic voices like? January 16, 20251 yr They are good. There are a few to chose from, and you can change the volume/speed (of speech). You can probably find some videos online that give examples.

As well one can install actual speech snippets from various airlines which are automated in their delivery which I really enjoy. January 16, 20251 yr Entourage is a one time purchase if you use other ATC or do not need ATC. The Sayintentions subscription is now 19.95 month which includes all Entourage features and ATC functionality. I only fly small general aviation aircraft so other than occasionally using the tour guide feature I do not use the other Entourage features but use ATC on every flight.
