January 27, 20251 yr Hopefully 3rd party repaints will work with this. It doesn’t sound like there are external model changes so 🤞 Dave Current System (Running at 4k): ASUS ROG STRIX X670E-F, Ryzen 7800X3D, RTX 5090, 55" Samsung Q80T, 64GB DDR5 6000 RAM, EVGA CLC 280mm AIO Cooler, Brunner CLS-E NG Yoke, Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS & Stick, Thrustmaster TCA Quadrant & Add-on, VirtualFly Ruddo+, TQ6+ and Yoko+, GoFlight MCP-PRO and EFIS, Skalarki FCU and MCDU
January 27, 20251 yr @St Mawgan Superb News - Thanks for the heads-up! No mention of an extra surcharge for it then? I think Just Flight don't get enough praise sometimes, for the quality of their products, and the customer support. The Hawk has always been one of my favourites. I had it originally in FSX. I actually saw my first Hawks at St. Mawgan when I was a whipper-snapper. Not sure if it was because it was a maintenance base at the time, or if they were just passing through from somewhere like RAF Valley, or Chivenor - I didn't know much about them at the time as it was all new to me then, but I remember some were camo an some were raspberry ripple. Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind). I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio. Intel 14900K in a Z790 motherboard with water cooling, RTX 4080, 32 GB 6000 CL30 DDR5 RAM, W11 and MSFS on Samsung 980 Pro NVME SSD's. Core Isolation Off, Game Mode Off.

Surely there was only ever one Raspberry Ripple ETPS Hawk?, as it happens I saw it the other day stored in a Hangar at St Athan

I know the ETPS one you are on about, but I meant the standard red and white training school ones. Did they not call them that? https://www.valleyaviationsociety.co.uk/hawk-t-1-colours-at-raf-valley#&gid=1028633852&pid=1 Yes, I remember St. Athan as well. Always lots of tasty bits and pieces about there! No, the Raspberry ripple scheme included the blue trim, only ETPS aircraft used it St Athan is all civilian operators now, but there are some interesting things still happening there I worked there in the Historic aircraft collection before it all got shipped out to various Museums Heres the ripple, with the blue at bottom https://www.airteamimages.com/british-aerospace-hawk_xx342_uk-qinetiq_146116 Apologies for thread drift but I just have to post a link to what I think is the most beautifull example of the ripple scheme on the iconic and lovely Jag T2 Edited January 27, 20251 yr by Rusty Spanner
January 28, 20251 yr I'm SO looking forward to the new flight model. The addon was simply amazing when released years ago, and really the only thing that bugged me about it was the FSX-ish flight model. If that's fixed now, this may go back to being one of my most-flown addons 🙂
