"Xbox simmers" will not be "bringing the money" to MSFS 2024 while there is no Marketplace.
There is nothing at all wrong with those who do not share a passion for "systems depth".
Anyone can take whatever they want out of a simulation, there is no right and wrong and certainly
there is no better or worse.
That's why developers, who mostly realise this, usually include a load and go option for those who do
not necessarily wish to jump through the real world hoops that are needed to fly a real one, while including
as many metres of systems depth as they can for those who do.
It's called catering for all tastes.

There is also another element.

Backend driven failures take long development time and extensive testing.

That is one of the reasons why PMDG development cycles are so drawn out.

IniBuilds went another route that allows for shorter development time.

They now have a working platform on the market and can continue to work on expanding the system depth on an already released product.

Remains to be seen for how long and to what depth's they will go with this.

Currently they are moving a bit too quickly to their next aircraft instead of expanding and improving the ones they already have.

I mean, I respect your opinion but what exactly did you expect? You get the A350-1000, -900 and later -900ULR for MSFS 2020 and MSFS 2024. That's a pretty good price for a high end aircraft add on and

You don't really believe that will be the case...

And here you go, all the proof you need.

wow, the performance is terrible even in msfs24, i had low expectations due the A300 performance in MSFS20 but this is much worse 24 fps on Tokyo Asobo version without  beyond atc or ai traffic yet lol. cpu limited with a 5800x3d with 100 TLD spacer.png

What GPU do you have.Do you use DLSS tweaks

Same place, same runway, same aircraft, no FG, 3840x1600, I get 42fps. i7-13700k, RTX4080, 64GB RAM.

Congratulations iniBuilds team for an excellent release.

Certainly from an logistical point of view - bought, downloaded, installed without a hitch.

Flown quite a few flights just to test things out, off the bat seems stable and functions as expected.

I think this might be the one that causes me to fully switch over to MSFS 24 for good. I haven't loaded up MSFS 2020 since December last year. I do miss the 777 which is still installed on it, but I highly doubt I'd be flying it for the next few months with the A350 around.

I'm sure there will be bugs, and performance will be optimised as things get moved along.

NZAA | YPPH

Hahahaha lowering freelook speed in the cockpit of A350 crashes the sim. Repeatable, did it 3x now. Enter the cockpit, pull up camera settings and try to lower freelook speed below 30.

Does not happen with Fenix.

for 2024 the inimanger gives the option to install lower res textures.

there's also a option in the EFB to unload model parts the camera isn't looking at. Again only for 2024 I believe as it uses a new feature added in 2024.

Because the cabin was built to use the 2024 modular subject system.

Yep, makes total sense that it was built for 24 with the modular system and as I suspected actually multiple models, similar to what you can do with a model with multiple undercarriage variants like ski's, floats and gear.  Build one model then the multiple variants of undercarriage rather than 3 full models...

So they couldn't have built the cabin as detailed with the crew rest and avionics bay but like I said, we've already had moving curtains, opening doors, toilets, interiors tied to exterior liveries but it was also the fact that they had already built the plane for 24 with the modular modelling and they would have had to probably create a whole new model with cabin for 2020 and they deemed it either not worth it or too much effort.

So it came down to already being built with a modular model and work load, not 2020 being incapable of having a detailed interior and still maintaining good performance...  Other developers have pulled that off without issue.

Thank you.

Have a Wonderful Day

Then deinstall the Navigraph Airac, that should solve it.

Ok I now realize that I had to join the beta it wasn't automatic, lol . Just did that and all is good now on FMS.

Have not flown it a lot and having bought them most likely one of the first people who got it, I am a bit disappointed honestly.

How they hyped the aircraft, I actually thought it be will more system depth. Also, I already had some, what I would consider, simple bugs. Like Batteries not appearing as off when turned off.

I actually didn't know that 200 ECAM messages make only around 10% of the 2000 on the real aircraft. I have more of a feeling it's a simulated frontend, rather than simulated backed which properly interacts with the frontend.

Since it is the only one A350 on the market currently available, and actually the only long range aircraft outside of default MSFS aircraft, I have bought it. I will learn and fly it, but I will not blink for a second if FSLabs, PMDG or Fenix comes up with a viable alternative. OR - if ini man up and create way more systems depth, giving a straight feeling it's at least partly study level.

I think the only viable alternative will be PMDG 777 when it comes to 2024.

Btw... apparently Fenix did want to create A350, but cancelled it, once they realized ini was creating one and were more ahead than Fenix.

Waiting a few days before getting this one, can you explain more about why you feel the system depth is not where it could be? Of course everyone's definition of "study level" or "high fidelity" is different, but from all what I'm hearing from the various simmers' and IRL pilots' reviews a fair amount say it is simulated pretty deeply and they consider it high fidelity, and then yes there are also some who feel it's not as deep as it could be. Can you please give some examples of what you think is missing systems wise?

Also, what do you and others think about its flight dynamics and ground handling?

And didn't know about Fenix's intentions re: the A350, did they mention it somewhere on their discord?

Found a bug within 5 minutes, clicking on "sync company flight plan" on the init page in the FMS instantly freezes the sim (fs2024). Another carefully tested add on for us beta testers...

Uh lots of people have been using that feature fine. All 5 of my flights have used that feature

Ugh...

Sounds like they should have stuck to their guns and simply take Ini on and develop their own version to compete.

I'm glad that we finally have a decently functional A350 in the sim. But considering what Aamir is saying about what is missing, what is wrong or fictional, I'd say it is an overpriced product. I mean it is clearly set in the PMDG range at 89€ after Taxes. For that price I expect fidelity that can compete with Fenix.

In my opinion it's not correct to see a dev attacking another dev, because everyone has its own flaws (see that A320 floating like a glider when landing, and flying on the rails?). He who has a glass roof should not throw stones.

Missing the PMDG DC6 in MSFS 2024 (she's here, but...).

ini have simply filled a market gap. Although I understand where Fenix is coming from but I don't think they get to do the whole woe is me because they had to cancel the project.
