Apparently an WASM issue with Navigraph when using that for in sim navigation data. After setting up a flight in FMS and you change the runway, it will freeze and you will have to restart MS. This was on 2020. iniBuilds is aware and looking into it.

Thanks .. Looks like i will dodge that bullet then. I have a Navigraph ultimate sub but i have NEVER installed Navigraph's in sim AIRAC module. I like to keep things default unless absolutely required so my addon aircraft that require Navigraph (PMDG, Fenix etc) has its database updated and that's about it. I don't even use the integrated charts .. got a separate tablet for that. Less things to go wrong.

I mean, I respect your opinion but what exactly did you expect? You get the A350-1000, -900 and later -900ULR for MSFS 2020 and MSFS 2024. That's a pretty good price for a high end aircraft add on and

What does WASM stand for? I see a lot of people mention it in their coments.

one has to ask how beta testers didnt find this.  basics, pure basics.

considering the "most advanced sim aircraft ever", was just released on "the best sim platform ever", this place is spookily quiet - am I the only one not flying it?

They also said the FBW 380 was going to be something from another planet.

Its the hype and marketing that this young new gamer community is addicted too which causes it, not to mention the way we have turned the community into some cult religion over the last 10 years (with the help of pay to beta) ,that you cant question or critise.

hm you don't actually have to hit the button to change active screen, you can just double click on the screen you want to use
I did it by accident

I had the same thought! I thought there would be more reactions and insights into the actual plane but the 350 seems to have received bit of a mixed reaction, especially in performance. I was pretty interested in this but sounds like I will hold off for a while.

MSFS 2024. Primary Planes: Black Square TBM850, Duke, Baron, Caravan; A2A Comanche; FSReborn Phenom; Fexix A321; PMDG 737-7, 777: Utilities: Active Sky (Passive Mode); BATC, FSLTL.

there's 1600 people flying it on Volanta, 670 on VATSIM, 153 on IVAO

Some of those could also be the Flight Factor A350 for X-Plane as I'm not filtering by simulator as I can't figure it out.

People are probably just too busy flying it. I'm current descending into KIAD from EGLL (I used simrate increase to skip most of the trans-Atlantic portion flight)

again the moment they came up with the buzzword "lite" ie:  no cabin, it was a red flag

How well did the sim rate Increase work?  What rate were you able to use?

For beta testers to find EVERYTHING, they would need every single piece of hardware that exists, every single combination of operating system and software on that hardware, and tens of thousands of users testing those setups. The addon would need years of testing to even come close to finding all the bugs.

Only when the product is released will many bugs surface, and thus be dealt with.

A quick performance comparison vs the Fenix A320 at iniBuilds OMAA:

9gzEsVr.jpeg

MSFS2024 SU1 beta | 4K FG DLSS+DLAA TLOD50 ultra settings | No cabin livery

Although the average FPS is identical, the 1% low is considerably worse with the A350, hence there were more stutters.

With BATC at max traffic settings, FPS was around 70, which is not bad. 1% low was even lower though at 17.

Btw, with this MobiFlight profile, my miniEFIS+FCU units work at least partially. I haven't tested this in flight yet - but at least changing the altimeter and the altitude seems to work.
