iniBuilds A350 has been released!

Hey I was just joking but please just let the sim (2024) sell itself its not the users job. I have enough faith the users are intelligent enough to make their own decisions.

User uses the product, is pleased with said product and then passes that pleasure onto others.  I mentioned 2024 because it is mostly stable with SU1 beta 3. So for those upset they there is a less complete cabin in the 2020 version, they may find it useful for others to mention buying 2024 and run both sims, to have the maximum compatibility with addons.

If somebody seeing the positives mentioned about 2024 but decides not to buy it to get the A350, then they have used their intelligence in making that decision.

I mean, I respect your opinion but what exactly did you expect? You get the A350-1000, -900 and later -900ULR for MSFS 2020 and MSFS 2024. That's a pretty good price for a high end aircraft add on and

Yes, heaven forbid there may be a thread where someone "misses out" on 2024 because he didn't speak out... LOL

It's like we are all being provided a service otherwise they may listen to someone else or make a decision on their own and be misinformed 😉

I think we have all come to expect it now but telling people asking questions about an addon just released for 2020 as well to just buy 2024 instead is not helpful for anyone despite it being part of said public service...

So you not going to buy it because of no cabin for 2020 verion?

Budget constraints. I recently purchased an add-on from another developer and that pretty much took care of a few months worth of flight simulation expenses. As for the lack of eye candy in the 2020 version, yes, I did expect a bit of a discount. Broad, if not quite appropriate analogy: Would you expect to pay the same if you bought a car without an a/c system as with a car with one?

I'm curious as to why ini would choose not to include the missing bits in the 2020 version. Performance concerns?

Well that's your personal problem. Expecting to pay less because you have not yet made the switch to 24 is a bit out of line.

I never said it was anyone else's problem; and I certainly did not say I expected to pay less because I have not yet switched to 2024.
You need to improve either your reading skills or your understanding of what people post.

Also, who do you think you are telling me I'm "a bit out of line"? Your reality and circumstances are strictly yours. Learn to accept differing opinions and different points of view without biting people's heads off.

How well did the sim rate Increase work?  What rate were you able to use?

the aircraft was built to use 2024's modular sim object system for the cabin, 2020 doesn't have that so it couldn't be back ported.

That's also why the 2020 version doesn't have per-livery configs.

Remember this aircraft was built for 2024, it was only after 2024's abysmal launch did they decide to make a 2020 version, some compromises had to be made.

I think the most annoying/blocking issue with it is, at least for me, the displays freeze (but not the OIS), to me occured during importing company flight plan at Init Page (MSFS2020).. to other in different situations.

not many sales to be had with ms2024, like you said due to the abysmal launch, lack of interest and lack of sales.

So they whip out some unoptimsed ms2020 version with no cabin, slap a "lite" version buzzword on it and hope for sales that way.

How people didnt work that out weeks ago ill never understand.   I swear everything in this community is a shakedown

I used the little free time I have this evening to buy her and take her for a spin. Picked a real life route that Lufthansa flies just now with one of the real aircraft that are available as livery option. Don't intend to see this one through, just trying to get a feeling.

Impression: Very good.

Performance is indeed great, probably the best performing airliner I have in MS2024.

I'm on SU1 Beta and I use the default Navdata Airac, so no problems with WASM Crashes.

Especially impressive is how crisp the displays look (with TAA that is).

Also very good is the GSX integration. Having the GSX Menu in the ONS is a genius idea that other developers should adapt ASAP.

Only thing I'm not so sure is the noise cancelling headphone option. That's more on ASOBO than on Inibuilds since it just triggers the default headphone simulation.

With that option ticked on take off roll you don't hear the engines at all after they have passed 50%. Quitest take off roll ever. The front landing gear is the only thing you hear.

And I can't seem to get the enroute charts to work, even though I linked my Navigraph account.

What is with the landing gear sound? It seems very loud and NOT like a gear? Want to make sure its not just me. Also after disconnecting the AP and press reset on alarm why does the tone continue?

That’s accurate to the real a350 as you’re sitting pretty much right on top of the nose gear, as for the AP I’m pretty sure you have to click it twice
