iniBuilds A350 has been released!

wow, the performance is terrible even in msfs24, i had low expectations due the A300 performance in MSFS20 but this is much worse 24 fps on Tokyo Asobo version without  beyond atc or ai traffic yet lol. cpu limited with a 5800x3d with 100 TLD spacer.png

I mean, I respect your opinion but what exactly did you expect? You get the A350-1000, -900 and later -900ULR for MSFS 2020 and MSFS 2024. That's a pretty good price for a high end aircraft add on and

I can't use it in 2024. It freezes up within 10 seconds of loading.

for 2024 the inimanger gives the option to install lower res textures.

there's also a option in the EFB to unload model parts the camera isn't looking at. Again only for 2024 I believe as it uses a new feature added in 2024.

So I understand the whole avionics bay and crew rest area but don't understand why the rest of the cabin couldn't be included in the 2020 version unless and I am speculating here is is one model in 2024 and two models, one for the exterior and one for the interior in 2024.  Otherwise, we've already had moving curtains, toilets, full cabins, interiors tied to liveries in 2020 so not sure why they couldn't include "any" cabin...

Because the cabin was built to use the 2024 modular subject system.

I find the Asobo Tokyo runs bad with a lot of aircraft.

having never flown an airbus i was expecting to find it needing a bit of a learning curve. ive done 3 flights so far and disconnected the gpu twice cos of the beacon, i wont fall for that again! beautiful looking inside and out. performance has been very good so far, using auto_fps. 3 flights and 3 landings between 96-133fpm disconnecting a\p at 2.5 miles. surprised me, was expecting to bin it in to the runway lol. thought i had a bug with navigraph charts just showing black screen, but after cycling through the button at the bottom right of the ois, ifr, vfr, night, day etc, it showed and worked perfectly. btv is also pretty cool. so much to learn, but i enjoyed all 3 flights immensely so far. although (and this is going to be my own airbus inexperience, im not sure what im doing with the descent, open and managed), the vsd wanted me to descend at 80 miles from 40000 feet. instead i just started descent working on the 3 miles to 1000 feet rule.

Go to the EFB - Options - Simulation and set Auto GPU Disco to Off. This Option removes the GPU when you have it seh to On and turn on the beacon.

Been good for me so far. I'm getting 40-50 fps in FlyTampa Toronto with BATC Traffic set to 5. In flight, I'm getting 80 fps. Perfectly acceptable (yes, I have a powerful system, will be worse on lower hardware).

The plane is really beautifully modeled and feels next-gen - both as an actual aircraft, and a sim aircraft. The details and textures are super crisp, and they have done things that I've never seen before (damage is modeled, condensation effects.. lots of stuff).

I'm not an expert on the systems but what I have used seems very accurate and nothing is broken as such. I'm sure real pilots will notice differences, but as a simmer, it's really well done.

The EFB and especially the large chart display really makes the flight deck feel alive. Overall, a solid 9/10 for me, fix a few minor things, improve performance a bit, and this is likely to be one of the best planes ever.

PMDG visually dethroned, again. What a bird, visually stunning!

I almost did not get it because of some comments but what an incredible machine. Love it! I mention this above about the gear sounding like a shotgun when open and closing, just sounds weird but they are more smart than me. I still cannot get the AP warning to turn off after hitting the warning button twice. Has to be me... The simbrief integration is top notch. Cockpit is beautiful. I am in 2020, 2024 does like any tubers for me very much. Fenix will work but then turns into a slide show.

Why is there no smoke when landing from under the landing gear? MSFS2020

Yes Navigraph and as noted earlier in my original posting 24. I haven't had a flight yet.

Then deinstall the Navigraph Airac, that should solve it.

I won't repeat the answer you already got that this can be changed in the options.

Instead I want to point out that even with the option turned on, that shows that your flows are wrong.

The beacon is turned on after you have received pushback or startup clearance. By that time the APU is already running. So the GPU automatically disconnecting when you turn on the Beacon should have no consequences.

PMDG was never the best visually in MSFS as far as airlines. Not hard to dethrone them on that part.

What is with the landing gear sound? It seems very loud and NOT like a gear? Want to make sure its not just me. Also after disconnecting the AP and press reset on alarm why does the tone continue?

Landing gear you sit right on top of so it’s super loud.

The ATR is the same way.  First time I dropped the gear in the real plane I thought it was broken, it’s so, so loud.

Found a bug within 5 minutes, clicking on "sync company flight plan" on the init page in the FMS instantly freezes the sim (fs2024). Another carefully tested add on for us beta testers...

Have not flown it a lot and having bought them most likely one of the first people who got it, I am a bit disappointed honestly.

How they hyped the aircraft, I actually thought it be will more system depth. Also, I already had some, what I would consider, simple bugs. Like Batteries not appearing as off when turned off.

I actually didn't know that 200 ECAM messages make only around 10% of the 2000 on the real aircraft. I have more of a feeling it's a simulated frontend, rather than simulated backed which properly interacts with the frontend.

Since it is the only one A350 on the market currently available, and actually the only long range aircraft outside of default MSFS aircraft, I have bought it. I will learn and fly it, but I will not blink for a second if FSLabs, PMDG or Fenix comes up with a viable alternative. OR - if ini man up and create way more systems depth, giving a straight feeling it's at least partly study level.

I think the only viable alternative will be PMDG 777 when it comes to 2024.

Btw... apparently Fenix did want to create A350, but cancelled it, once they realized ini was creating one and were more ahead than Fenix.

no idea what your settings are but the 350 is extremely fluid = smooth on my end, started though TBH with the non-cabin version in 2024. no idea what my fps are as I just don't care as long as I have no stutters and smooth flying. and I have both, just started from EDDM and now enroute into EGLL
