I mean, I respect your opinion but what exactly did you expect? You get the A350-1000, -900 and later -900ULR for MSFS 2020 and MSFS 2024. That's a pretty good price for a high end aircraft add on and

Is the engine idle suppose to be around 24% during taxi?

No. It's supposed to be at 3.8%.

One thing about gear compression... did anyone observe how the gear reacts when GSX pushback-truck rises the gear? I will have to check with Fenix, but I don't believe I've observed something like this:

First, the gear-strut extends, fully, as it seems, like being pumped-up, and then the truck raises the gear very slightly.

Gotta see it, I started laughing...

But yes, thank you cpt_piett, I just tried this myself, braking compression is terrible.

But tell me.... what's up with the sports-car-taxiing? It's so direct, as I were driving a Mario-Kart...

So you believe in MSFS word. LOL we will see when with Navigraph results come back and when the actual simmers vote tell the truth and most main stream simmers have already parked Career gaming mode just like the casual gamers will soon and move on the next game release.

In the absence of other evidence, yes, I believe them.

Their product has become the uncontested dominant flight sim since shortly after it's release, and all the numbers we've been able to see independently verify that fact.

v24 isn't nearly as unpopular as people seem to believe. In fact, I'd say the number of complaints is just as much an indication of adoption as anything else. 😎

I believe we'll see growth in XP, and specifically v11 to v12 migration as well as overall growth, but it's not gonna be anywhere even close to MSFS v24. There would've had to have been an incredibly massive shift in the user base to change the trends from the last 5 years, and I'm sure LR would've been (justifiably) bragging if their biz grew at 100x or so ...

And, IIRC, there was no mention of Career Mode in the latest Navigraph survey...did I miss that...?

So how will we know how the "actual Simmers" feel about Career Mode...?

"From the little I know of this plane, it seems this is The Best A350 addon available in any flight sim, so we should all keep that firmly in mind."

Okay let's ignore pretty graphics for a moment - has anyone done a comparison between the old FFA350 and the Inibuilds A350 yet?

Based on the videos I posted above, the landing gear simulation isn't as good so I wonder how close to the numbers they both are when a deep dive is performed ... Flight Factor are arguable more of a stickler for details than Inibuilds so I'd be interested to see how a 10 yr old addon stacks up against this new version (especially since it's cheaper!).

I'm not the guy to do it, though I bought the FF update for v11 years ago.

It's never had a particularly good reputation, even vs FF's own A320. E.g., For the longest time it couldn't handle SIDs/STARs, the graphics were meh at best, etc.

I mean, it started as an XP v10 addon, so I'm not sure how much we can expect out of it vs today's standards. Similarly, the FF 777v2 has built a very good reputation vs the now discontinued v1, and even vs its competition in P3D & MSFS.

I believe FF also made it at least compatible with V12, but I'm not sure if it was actually upgraded/improved. Perhaps not as FF are reportedly collaborating on a true v2, but it's talked about even less than their 787.

In sum, someone who knows about A350s will have to weigh in.

I think it did

edit: Ah no it asked about missions, not career specificlly.

Just starting ETD5BN, OMAA to CYYZ

Flight finished without a hitch, 13 hours. MSFS2024

I did a flight last night (first one) and had a wasm crash, but then I’d done a flight today from LFBO to EGLL with no issues. I’m assuming that after updating the aircraft yesterday and then restarting my PC, that may have solved it.

i have one question though, can this plane load passengers and fuel into the aircraft through GSX based on a simbrief flight plan?

GSX failed to load this morning when I done my flight so couldn’t try it out.

Before the latest update, auto-frequency change with BATC didn't work properly. Has this been resolved? (I haven't tried the A350 since the update).

It was hit and miss on my flight this morning. It randomly done it for around 20 minutes.
