Here's a video doing some touch 'n go's at LFBO Toulouse Blagnac using the exterior view for the landings. The first landing is an autoland. In the second one, I did my best to do a hard landing. I don't see much compression of the nose and main gear - it even looks like the main gear is "digging" into the runway a bit.

This is either (hopefully) just a bug or awfully bad developped! The main gear does not canter at all....it just stays unanimated in that angle and digs into the ground....

Just like when you just started a flight at the apron.....it looks the same way.

@iniBuilds is this a BUG or intended to be as it is?

I mean, I respect your opinion but what exactly did you expect? You get the A350-1000, -900 and later -900ULR for MSFS 2020 and MSFS 2024. That's a pretty good price for a high end aircraft add on and

Landing feels a bit STIFF.....no soft feeling regardless how soft you land......

And there is no smoke at all in 2020, in 2024 there is only one landing gear.

What about the WASM issues with patch 3? I don't see any feedback, either positive or negative, on this very annoying problem. I'll buy it when I'm sure I can fly without crashing. Because right now, I find MSFS2024 ultra stable! (Except for performance, but I think that's more of a problem with the 2020 scenery that shouldn't be optimized for 2024). But otherwise, no CTDs since the game's launch, that's great, so I hope it continues.

I have not experienced WASM crash since patch 2. After patch 3 I noticed WASM was rebuilt again (during first launch). I made 2 hours flight which was uneventful.

I saw this self same issue yesterday, on a very short 30 minute flight from Manchester to London,

If you read the release notes from the forum post linked above, I'd say it's instead a very significant upgrade, which changes some structural aspects of their code to make it more robust.

if they'd tested it properly in the first place before rushing it out, they wouldnt have so many issues

I just completed VGHS Dhaka, Bangladesh to VNKT Kathmandu, Nepal in the A350-900. The aircraft was able to fly the RNP (AR) approach to runway 20 without any issues, all the way down to decision altitude. Impressive.

That's not relevant to what I said, which was in response to a supposedly "minor" update. It's not, even if there aren't as many bullet points as the previous one, that was my one and only point.

Well,

in the video I linked above the author, supposedly a rw A320 pilot, makes a strong point regarding how "incomplete" / "inconsistent" and unrelated to any performance problems with the addon or the underlying simulator, this A350 addon still is...

For the price tag, I honestly think it should not show these limitations 😕

@Cpt_Piett

Thank You so much for attempting this for me i really appreciate it.

I do want to give a few pointers so you know for the next time you feel you want to do an RNP approach for airbus aircraft.. You typically want to press the approach button at the Initial Approach fix (IAF) which i believe is IGRIS in your flight. The reason for that is that from that point on you may activate the approach mode or wait for the aircraft to do so itself the aircraft and crew are supposed to observe and respect the Required navigational performance (in this case RNP 1.00 to 0.30) of the approach and any deviation outside of the lateral and vertical limits of the approach typically results in the approach being aborted due to the inherent danger of the environment your flying into. The aircraft should be in APP DES at IGRIS or shortly afterwards and the green bars should show up. You also want to ensure your baro settings are current as it affects the vertical accuracy.

With that being said i didn't see or know (In this aircraft) where the real time RNP required/deviation status was being reported (i didn't see it in the video) so i cant comment on that although its just as important because that is observed during the approach.

So shortly after IGRIS i was looking for you to be in App Des mode and not in Nav mode but i did see that you turned it on a little bit before finals and in App Des mode it looked fairly reasonable in following the track (The Green Bars) .. its a little jerky in the arc but i can let that slide a little as I'm sure programming this is not easy.

I'm not a RW pilot so if these pointers above are incorrect please feel free to correct so i can improve myself  in properly performing  these approaches as well.

Again i thank you so much for doing this .. at least i know more than likely it should get you down to the runway even if it may be missing some aspects of the approach.

Hats off to you !😁

Has anyone tweaked the HOTAS Warthog for pitch and roll? They do say linear is best but if feels a bit to extreme.

Maybe its the weight since i have only done delivery flights with about 90.T  less from MTOW.

I will not dig into the CPDLC before upgrading my PC (in May btw at last) as i would think Vatsim will put even more demand on performance.

Overall 1.03 is a keeper so far. Looking forward to real time GSX Fuel load.

Extra note:

Also still a MSFS thing . I get temps up to 100c now between for instance SOSAL - KORED in Europe . This has plaqed my Europe for long time (at FL430 btw)

Extra note 2:

How do i clear a single Fix page ?

Thanks
