I can confirm it works with my W11 home and P3D 5.4, just the same: one quick fix and that works for the entire flight. No big deal.

For what it’s worth I’ve posted the problem in the Microsoft Windows forum. Hopefully someone will respond with a permanent solution. https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_11-

Me too. After singing praises of EZCA I had similar experience and went back to Chase Plane. Buyer be ware. Hope I didn’t lead anyone astray with my post above.

Can not even use CP with this "toggle the Minimise to Taskbar on/off" trick. It's no longer than 5 sec panning, then stalls again. So got rid of it too. Just pure P3D functions. Not cool but at least reliable.

And your settings match mine I posted in the previous page? Bizarre if that’s the case.

Did not compare and now it's uninstalled. Do no longer waste time with this. I tried a lot of settings and nothing worked.

Works fine for me for one session too then I have to reset. More annoying is that this setting means I can't press a button or key to get the interface back I have it exit sim and go to the tiny clickspot in windows just to see it. I use lossless scaling app btw. So that makes individual window focus even more of a pain.

I have a key combo of CTRL+Shift+M to toggle LS on/off. But I set CP toggle first then never need to use the CP interface again. I always reboot P3D for a new flight. It’s problematic if you don’t.

Yes it's no issue when your views are set. I'm currently doing a complete reconfig of all hardware buttons with fsuipc and cp views in p3dv5 as well as equivalent in msfs 2020. Look forward to when it's done!

In the meanwhile, lots of short flights today from EGPN down to EGLC via EGNT, EGMN, EGHI etc with TrueEarth and FSL buses. Nice weather today :D

I don't really understand your comment. LS toggles on or off with a customisable key press. When it is "live" the screen expands and hides the taskbar. When off, the taskbar is visible and hence the shortcuts to all active programs.

Chaseplane is not in the task bar. It's in the mini area bottom right otherwise it won't scroll properly. Trying fine zoom a view when not in full screen means task bar is in way of window. Put simply I'm trying to adjust views while in full screen mode which used to work done before the bug this thread is all about started. Chase plane will NOT come to foreground while ls is active using a key or button shortcut.

Now I am completely lost. Why don't you put CP in the task bar? Then you can access it easily. Again, I don't know what you mean by "it won't scroll properly". Views are adjusted on my set up by clicking the icon in the taskbar, accessing the CP camera set up while flying, adjusting to the desired view and then saving the results, there is no "scrolling".

Once this simple job is done, it will stay that way until changed again.

Then a key press and lossless is re-engaged.

What am I missing?

Please read the whole thread? There's a whole section about the only way to keep CP panning usable is to ENABLE then DISABLE the minimise to task bar option. Thus removing it from the task bar and sticking it in SYSTEM TRAY icon area from where you can't use button key or alt tab to get it back.

Hint. Read the thread TITLE? It contains a clue...

If you are going to be rude and ridiculous, I will not attempt to help you any further. Suffice it to say that the switching on and off button on the interface has NO EFFECT on the minimise button for the interface itself.

So all you need to do is temporarily turn off LS if it’s running, double-click the CP icon in the system tray and there’s the interface. Make any changes in views and then minimise CP and it goes back to the system tray.

Then turn LS back on. It’s not difficult.

May I ask what is "LS".

I have a "French speaking" Windows and LS is not something familiar for me...

Thanks

Sorry. Steam’s Lossless Scaling application. Around €6 and makes a huge difference to performance.
