I just reinstalled Windows 11 altogether due to a system upgrade, and the updates were like I expected, installed without being present to remove. Fortunately, like many others, I keep the option 'Always on top' enabled, and moving them to one of my side monitor corner's makes it usable again. 

I put it on top of the taskbar (Search bar area) and then click on the taskbar in another location to make it disappear. It's hidden, but from Chaseplane's perspective, it's still present. No problems anymore.

I will explore EZDOK, though, since I bought it for this reason, but I believe there's again a learning curve and time to get it all sorted.

I hope that the feedback described above might help those who do not have this option.

I've continued to use CP and on today's flight from Ben Gurion to Palma, Mallorca which took 1h 58m in Concorde I toggled the Minimise to Taskbar on/off and after that the panning was absolutely fine. That's a total of 2h 30m when you take Concorde startup procedures into account.

Slightly irritating but nothing more. Just add it to your checklist.

Hi Ray. Did it work your entire flight without having to repeat the minimize to taskbar during the trip? Personally just a few seconds of smooth panning is all I could get before CP would go back to the panning issue at hand.

Yes Vic. Never touched it again. It needs to be Off so toggle it on then off.

I concur. That was the same result on my 8 hours flight. You just need one reset per flight.

Unfortunately switching minimize on and off does not fix the issue for me.  Works for a few seconds then the issue starts again.

Perhaps it needs a particular combination of settings. I’ll upload mine later tomorrow.

Uninstalling the latest round of windows 11 updates fixed the issue again for me, but I’d like to be able to fix CP another way rather than having to uninstall updates every week. 

Here's my settings for CP. I just toggle Minimise to Taskbar on then off and all is well.

Have to open this old thread again, cause I'm finished with EZCA.

EZDok EZCA is no alternative. I tried it now several weeks and it makes more problems than ever.

The problems I encountered:

Predefined keys for inside and outside view stop working after some time. EZDok said my licence is not valid, I should reset within the flight1 purchase agent. Did that, does not help. Problem remains. All 5 Minutes the program need a restart.

Now after weeks the program also looses the coolie-hat function. Could be my aging stick but not sure of that. Otherwise the stick seems to work. Tested with windows joy.cpl. Can be fixed by reconfiguring the joystick in the EZCA panel. Annoying. 

The shaking effects the camera comes with, are cool at first on an give immersion, if you fly a bush plane. But then on an airliner it is annoying. Didn't find a way to select this per aircraft. The shaking is sometimes so strong you can't click the switches.

Support does no longer answer me after the initial contact we had. They just ghosted me. It looks, as if the budget per user is only for one ore two e-mails or they have no clue what's wrong with the program. 

My conclusion: Bugware, Abandonware, not as good as Chaseplane, if this would still work without the latest flaw. Don't buy it, you will regret.

Me too. After singing praises of EZCA I had similar experience and went back to Chase Plane. Buyer be ware. Hope I didn’t lead anyone astray with my post above. 

Once I’ve toggled the single option on then off CP behaves just as it did before Microsoft broke it with a mandatory update.

A small irritation but nothing more. It lasts for the duration of my flights.
