Hello guys! 

I suffer the same issue with panning when using chaseplane. Lags for some seconds, then works fine, then starts again to lag, then fine agan, and so on. 

Very annoying.

Unfortunately the mentioned updates (KB5054979, KB5055523, KB5050577 and KB5053656) which have to be uninstalled dont appear for me in the "Uninstall Updates" list anymore.

Maybe anyone figured out a workaround that problem in the meantime? Or maybe a complete solution?

I also tried a new install of Chaseplane, tried the always on top option, etc. Unfortunately all without any success. Seems until that is fixed I have to fly MSFS 😕

The problem has returned for me, even after fixing it a few weeks ago by uninstalling the latest windows updates. I don’t show any new windows updates have been installed so not sure what is causing the issue now…

edit: windows did update my pc on May 4th and I went back and uninstalled the updates again to fix the issue.

An interesting development.

Having deleted those updates and got ChasePlane working., I decided today to be brave.

I unblocked Updates and told it to update everything that it wanted.

To my utter surprise, not only did it load Windows faster but P3D and ChasePlane worked perfectly: no zoom problems and no Hat problems.

I have not yet tested with a flight but on the ground all was well.

My Windows current version shows as  24H2 (26100.3915)

Perhaps one of you would like to be brave and see if it works for you.

If I get problems inflight tomorrow, I will post here.

Maybe I am on the odd one out here, but I have the latest 24H2 Windows 11 updates installed (apart from the latest April Cumulative Preview) and last weekend performed a 3 hr flight in the MD-11F and did not notice any stuttering or VC display issues when using CP.

2 hour flight. All working as before. Problems seem to have departed.

Very encouraging. Can you open Windows Updates and note the KB numbers of all in the last month please Ian. It suggests Microsoft have identified and fixed the error that unintentionally caused this bug.

There’s been no official response on my post on the Windows forum.

There have no updates been released on Windows 11 in the meantime apart from AV definitions. Chaseplane still does not work on my system updated to the latest build 26100.3915.

Not sure if this helps, but here's my list of Win 11 updates and CP config.

What's interesting is I have a couple of those previously mentioned KBs installed, but not some of the others.

Again, I am pretty much up to date with Win 11 updates apart from the April Cumulative Preview at this time.

@787flyer, 979 and 523 are the two I uninstalled. The difference between our systems appears to be PowerShell. Perhaps those affected might try that update and report back.

Hi Ray, re Powershell I only used that as a convenient way to list out the KBs installed.

I had read that sometimes from the Windows Update history it doesn't list out all Win updates, so the recommendation was to use Powershell instead to list out the installed updates.

@787flyer I compared the cp log from you and me and tried to adapt my settings but can't find any of the mouse_middle* settings. But most difference I see that you did not set any control assignments preferences in cp. The problem I talk about is occuring when I pan with the coolie-hat.

So how are you panning around?

We must have different configurations. I’m on Pro. Are you? I never saw the two you listed.
