May 1, 20251 yr I am also unable to install these updates anymore. It doesn't show any of these updates identified here as available to be uninstalled. Hopefully its a bug that gets squashed by Microsoft as it appears //42 will not be any help. Edited May 1, 20251 yr by gaumond - Gaumond

If they are not listed in the list of updates, that usually means that they have not been installed in the first place. So, very odd indeed. Intel i7 6700K @4.3. 32gb Gskill 3200 RAM. May 5, 20251 yr So I forgot the disable the updates and KB5054979, KB505552 returned. Nevertheless, I've removed them again and paused my updates for the time being. The aforementioned updates did not appear anymore. Now I'm able to fly again properly. I do not know if they just didn't come back, but seems that they are not the culprits. Since I just want to fly and not troubleshoot tonight I'll recheck if I can install maybe 1 of them instead of removing the both. Otherwise just hope for a proper update from Windows as I do not expect //42 to fix this matter. Edited May 5, 20251 yr by iMoveQuick
May 5, 20251 yr I'm still very very tempted to just throw down the forty bucks and get ezdok. It's still supported I believe and does everything CP does. I'm waiting to see if the next windows update fixes CP, if not it's ezdok for me. Vic green

I'm waiting to see if the next windows update fixes CP, if not it's ezdok for me. I am running EZDOK 3 (specifically v3.0.1.84) with P3D v4.5 HF3. As a user of P3D v4.5, I am unable to use a higher version of EZDOK, but the v3.0.1.84 works perfectly fine with my setup and gives me no issues whatsoever. I have had no issues wit EZDOK and the latest Windows Updates. Be aware there is a bit of a learning curve with EZDOK if you're not familiar with it, but the default settings work well enough if you don't want to dive right in. That said, once you get the hang of it, it is extremely flexible and you are able to get very realistic results with it. Regards, Freddy

I am thinking that if many people join together to write a letter/petition to Parallel 42 this just might help getting the issue fixed? They might be able to do something? Being hopeful of course.

May 6, 20251 yr Moderator Just now, Patco Lch said: @Ray Proudfoot hope that helps Ray. I glean the next security update next Tuesday. What do you get if anything? I’ve turned off Windows Updates until the end of May. I’m hoping they might have discovered they broke panning with hat switches by then. It would be more understandable if panning broke completely. But it just slows down. I don’t get the logic. Hence why I think it’s happened by accident. Ray (Cheshire, England).
