It will come, I'm confident of that. The question is when. Perhaps Terahertz tech when its perfected?

Maybe they can come up with a machine that takes a tiny (word not allowed) of blood from your finger and can diagonose you with rapid and accurate results 🤣🤣🤣

Edit: I'll try poke instead because pr_ck was not allowed 🙄

Just going to run a Chromebook and not upgrade to a Windows computer. Too many problems with the new Sims! 😱
Trying to keep peace and harmony and the will of Landru on the site seems to be a full time job!

Yeah, Elizabeth Holmes fits the definition of a psychopath.  Not only the stuff with Theranos, but after being outed for that fraud, she got married and had 2 kids prior to being sentenced.  Despite what she says, those kids were meant to be her Get Out of Jail Free card.

That was what I was joking about with my comment, back in the 60s the future looked bright, but as mankind moves forward we are more like the Ferengi, just a bunch of con artists, this is the reality of 2025 instead

Grand Nagus Elizabeth?  I could see it🤭

Star Trek Theranos.  Got to admit, it's got a nice ring to it.

She's like the guy in the old joke about someone who kills his parents and then throws himself at the mercy of the court because he's an orphan.

I remember a few years ago some Medical company came out with a "tricorder"... It was the size of half a room. 😬

Well, I've noticed that the paramedics in the UK are using tricorder sized ultrasound machines, as well as portable blood analyzers to provide diagnostic information which are also tricorder sized. I posit that before too much longer; those two instruments will be combined into a single device.

Yep, much like computers.  A computer used to fill a good sized room, then they fit onto a desk, now they can be thin, small, and easily carried and offer faster computational speeds and have more functions than the old ones that filled a room.

My computer: ABS Gladiator Gaming PC featuring an Intel 10700F CPU, EVGA CLC-240 AIO cooler (dead fans replaced with Noctua fans), Asus Tuf Gaming B460M Plus motherboard, 16GB DDR4-3000 RAM, 1 TB NVMe SSD, EVGA RTX3070 FTW3 video card, dead EVGA 750 watt power supply replaced with Antec 900 watt PSU.

Our paramedics here don't always drive you to the hospital anymore unless its a major emergency, they can also setup outside your house and hook you up to the monitors that the ER Department can see, and be treated in your driveway and released, or brought in for further observation if necessary. This helps releiving congestion in the ER.

I have seen ambulances park up around my workplace and bring a patient onboard and just stay in that spot for a few hours instead. Also the services are free, that's why they are called Wellington Free Ambulance, they raise money through private donations without government support.
