May 5, 20251 yr It works very well on both fs pc’s. The only thing I still have is that with every restart of the sim I loose my control settings. Anyone knows where they are stored so I can save that file and put it back before a restart ? 5950x3d 5.4-5.7 GHz - Asus ROG 870 Crosshair Apex - GSkill Neo 2x 24 Gb 6000 mhz / cas 26 - MSI RTX 5090 Gaming Trio OC - 1x SSD M2 6000 2TB - 1x SSD M2 2800/1800 1Tb - Corsair 5400 case - Corsair 360 liquid cooling set - 3x 75’ TCL tv. 13600 6 cores @ 5.1 GHz / 8 cores @ 4.0 GHz (hypterthreading on) - Asus ROG Strix Gaming D - GSkill Trident 4x Gb 3200 MHz cas 15 - Asus TUF RTX 4080 16 Gb - 1x SSD M2 2800/1800 2TB - 2x Sata 600 SSD 500 Mb - Corsair D4000 Airflow case - NXT Krajen Z63 AIO liquide cooling - FOV : 200 degrees My flightsim vids : https://www.youtube.com/user/fswidesim/videos?shelf_id=0&sort=dd&view=0

May 5, 20251 yr I have the Steam version, and it's more complicated than "verify" (without being aggressive). You must first delete the cloud backup and then restore the profiles. If you don't do this, you restore the profiles, and when you launch MSFS 20xx, Steam launches, restores the profile using the cloud backup, and then you're going around in circles. Backup profiles: Steam install path\userdata\47557404 It contains, among other things: \47557404\2537590 => 2024 \47557404\1250410 => 2020 Save and restore Steam install path\userdata\47557404 Edited May 5, 20251 yr by Area Config : AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D - MSI PRO B850-S WIFI6E - RAM G.Skill 2 x 32 Go DDR5 6000 MHz CL30 - MSI GeForce RTX 5080 16G VENTUS 3X OC PLUS - 2 WQHD (2560x1440) screens and only one of which is for MSFS

May 5, 20251 yr Try to find the "47557404" folder in the installation paths. If you find it: Create your profiles Cleanly exit MSFS 20xx Back up the "47557404" folder To restore: Disable MSFS cloud backup Restore "47557404" Launch MSFS Note: Be careful, if you are in the Beta version, this is an evolutionary version that may affect your profiles Config : AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D - MSI PRO B850-S WIFI6E - RAM G.Skill 2 x 32 Go DDR5 6000 MHz CL30 - MSI GeForce RTX 5080 16G VENTUS 3X OC PLUS - 2 WQHD (2560x1440) screens and only one of which is for MSFS

May 6, 20251 yr Installed it just to see how it was progressing and A350 smooth and no issues that's my benchmark.
May 6, 20251 yr The Tfdi MD11 now seems to work just fine with this beta. I’m using the build of the plane previous to the latest update copied and pasted into the community folder. There is no way that I can see for me to obtain the latest patch?

I assume you don't have 2020 installed anymore? What I do is let the updater install the new version into 2020, then copy over to 2024 replacing the previous version.

I'll reinstall it minimally to get the update.
May 6, 20251 yr I just joined the BETA via the InsiderApp by joining the preview.....and I do not get the BETA Update process running....MSFS App version stays 1.3.23.0. Restarting PC, MSFS2024, verify and repair app, did not help. I have checked if the preview joiing process has bin succesfull, and as far I noticed it was. Any ideas whats the cause? Is joining the beta limited for several users now? Thanks in advance for your help. Marcus Regards, Marcus P.

Marcus Try doing a wsreset in an admin command prompt window, and then go to the MS Store, then Downloads, then Check for Updates button in the top right. If you are using Steam, I don't know the process.. someone else can help you I'm sure. 9800X3d, 4090, 64 GB DDR5 6000 RAM, 4 TB NVME (2x2), 4K Ultra + Framegen
