May 2, 20251 yr I just installed the 777-200 and installed 2 liveries (American and United) but they don't show up in the sim. The Operation Center says they are installed but don't see them. What am I doing wrong? Thanks.
May 2, 20251 yr Be sure you have checked every engine variant for your liveries ... the livery will only appear where you have selected its engine type. Cheers, Brian L Robinson Flight Simmer since 1983 - loving the brilliant Quality Wings 787 and all PMDG models!!

May 2, 20251 yr Well once again I can only facepalm myself about this aircraft selection logic in MSFS2024, I wonder what guy on drugs was responsible for this. In the main selection window, it only shows me the AA paint with RR engines and only if take this and click on customize, it opens the selection menu allowing me to switch between engine variants. And within engine variants, then the liveries. But hey, for the ini A350 it is even more stupid and for the Fenix it is a total mess. So... Greetings, Chris AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D, 2x32GB DDR5 6000MT/s RAM, MSI RTX 4090 Ventus 3X, Windows 11 Home, MSFS2024

For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.

May 2, 20251 yr I heard from a few livery creators there are some issues importing liveries from .to. For now, they are releasing the liveries in a non .ptp structure and telling people to add the folder to Community instead. This is why a lot of the .to liveries are 2020 only. May 2, 20251 yr Author Solved! (Install word not allowed emoji here) I inadvertently was installing 2020 Liveries instead of 2024....😶

May 3, 20251 yr Typically the ones at flightsim.to are better anyway: https://flightsim.to/liveries/pmdg-boeing-777-200er/most-downloads/ | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |
May 3, 20251 yr It is possible to take the 2020 liveries and convert them to work in the 2024 sim (I have done several already), though it has to be done manually and the texture files have to be converted to KTX2 format. It is fiddly and time-consuming - not a job for the faint-hearted! I'm not sure if they will continue to use the OC3 to work with zip folders (as they currently do for 2020 liveries), or if they plan at some time to revert to the ptp format used in the past. The real problem at present is that OC3 does not yet import any 2024 non-PMDG liveries in any format, nor can non-PMDG liveries be exported from 2024. So even if we go to the trouble of converting the file structure and file formats to work in 2024, they cannot be shared and then installed by the average user. I hope they will fix that sooner rather than later!! Edited May 3, 20251 yr by ozzieblr Clarification. May 4, 20251 yr Latest on this? My MSFS 2024 777-200ER is only showing the one generic PMDG livery for each of the 3 engine options. Were there additional PMDG sourced liveries packaged with the aircraft at release? or Are folk pulling them from .to/ I saw a good ANA livery on YouTube, ex .to? T45
