When it took Fenix longer to release...

Fenix released 2 weeks later than the PMDG first release for MSFS in May 2022.

Whipped the do.

I agree that PMDG do build pretty decent aircraft.   However, they have a greedy business model that is not really value for money. This 777 is a fine example.   Anyway I will have

These conversations get so bizarre.  Guys, PMDG makes good products.  Considering it is a sub-$100 digital rendition of an extremely complex aircraft, they make INCREDIBLE products.  It is mind b

Whatever others think, I personally feel that the PMDG 737 is a superb aircraft. There is a reason why I have been flying it almost exclusively since 2014.

That's pretty much the exact opposite of what I said.

It's a shame that basic business practices go right over your head...

Its a shame someone is defending what they do oh well. Shame you can't even get facts right. Maybe do some research before posting.

At least it was to a good standard. reasonable price and still getting better with each update compared to a ported product.

To be honest I think Fenix started off with a rough start with performance. Many claimed they could not even fly it without performance issues.

I remember when CDs came out, I got a discount when buying my favorite Abba CDs since I had already purchased them on vinyl. Just kidding, I didn't get any discount. I asked for one, but they just laughed at me.

Not sure my last comment didn't drop. Many did but still you know what I mean.

Personally, I don't see the point in comparing development times between two companies that have different developmental methodologies. One is a lot more beholden to the restrictions put forth by the simulator than the other and, especially during a time when the sim was trying to solidify its SDK, it's fair to assume one had more potential blocks than the other.

Yeah I think I am done with The comparisons whether its Fenix, PMDG, iFly, Ini or whomever. It's kind of a moot point.

I think it's time this forum was renamed to the PMDG Debate Club. I only log in once a day and it seems the first page of posts has at least three separate PMDG topics going at any given time. It's exhausting.

Yes, exactly my point. IIRC, Just Flight was right in that same time frame.

It's almost like developing and releasing a highly complex multi-engine modern airliner might be a really difficult, time consuming activity...

Yet here "we" are criticizing PMDG for beating the Fenix "home run".  SMH...

Anyone who says, "ported" immediately loses all credibility in matters like this.

No one is doing that, that is your assumption. LOL but believe what you want i'm done here.

Leonardo Maddog X also the Just Flight Bae 146 released a week before PMDG should we criticize them too. Just stop. Do not make this about PMDG vs Fenix as they all wanted to be the first high fidelity airline release for MSFS.

Now we are getting way off topic.

Weird take.

I'm not criticizing ANY of them. They're all obviously fine developers with successful businesses.

But it seems like most other developers get a pass with whatever mistakes they make, whereas people seem to have a blood feud with PMDG for some reason.

I'm just batting away at the misinformed softballs so many like to toss out about PMDG around here.

Even though they admitted to parts being ported okay then. Easy to see the P3D bugs still.

Do not call the pot a kettle! I will stop there.
