Well they certainly wouldn‘t have sold 50.000+ units as they did with the current payment model. They did everything right, not in the least by simply listening to the community

Impossible to say, with confidence.

  • Ryan is actual air traffic controller. If developers disregard his comments, you can forget about developing something that resembles actual ATC. "Write your own program" is very idiotic response

The AI in P3Dv4 did a solid job of directing aircraft correctly on the ground. It is a shame that MSFS is more last generation than next generation in this respect.

As far as recall, BATC was going to charge £/$ 30 .00 ish - a bit more than SI does. In my view, it might be not possilbe to do a modern AI ATC without such charges.

I wonder how BeyondATC would have turnred out if it had kept wth its original funding / payment model. FWIW, I have both BATC and SI - and Pilot 2 ATC - versions 2 and 3. I have no idea about FSHud.

Probably the same way as SI, mildly popular but the subscription model, particularly it being high is abrasive to a large portion of simmers.

honestly as we can see none of these apps are perfect, they all have various strengths and weaknesses.

I'm a pretend pilot and am perfect in every way!

Dear All,

Over the last 2 days, Beyond ATC has shut down on 2 separate flights for no apparent reason.

May I ask if anyone else has had this issue?

Best regards,

Peter

Just spent a few minutes watching BATC handle approaches into KDCA Runway 19.   It was too much to ask that the incoming aircraft followed the actual (river) approach, instead they lined up 5 miles out for a straight in approach.   That was disappointing but the capper was that they "landed" a few hundred yards short of the runway and simply taxied out of the river and down the length of 19 at a slow speed.    For departures, traffic was quantity was pretty good, just had to delete a couple of "stuck" aircraft in front of me that had the queue backed up.    Sorry BATC but you guys still have a long way to go.

A few days ago, BATC changed the sound of the default voices as well as the speed of the speech. They sound  great, and realistic. I am on the experimental release and radio degradation on, which may make a difference.

State of the software edition: Pure bliss.

I'm guessing it's the scenery that causes that. I can not replicate this at EGKK with the free gatwick found on flightsim.com by mkvy.  You may have a scenery conflict.

I have traffic set to 4 for arrivals and 5 for departures and in-air traffic, any higher and problems start to occur.
