I haven’t used BATC, but I do love how FSHUD Injects and Controls  AIG Traffic in both MSFS2020 and MSFS2024 without the AIG Traffic Controller.

The AI in P3Dv4 did a solid job of directing aircraft correctly on the ground. It is a shame that MSFS is more last generation than next generation in this respect.

For me it's a no go right now BATC when for instance at LPPT I'm told to backtrack on runway 20 instead of being given the correct taxiways... It's not isolated because I experienced it at least at another airport.

That's most likely a scenery issue

I thought that too... It's default scenery only. I don't buy scenery for MSFS.

Even with default scenery BATC aborts that comes with FS2024. For example, let Simbrief prepare a flightplan from LICC to EDDK rwy 13L . Fire up MSFS2024 and locate your plane at a spot in LICC. Now start BATC and you will be presented with an error message, that BATC cannot find the runway in EDDK and aborts the session. I filed a report on that and was told to buy a 3rd party EDDK or find a free one somewhere and then BATC will read the runways that come with the 3rd party scenery and then at long last will recognize EDDK rwy 13L. BATC finds a rwy 14L for EDDK in 2024's airports lists, but never take into account that runway designators can change over time. IRL EDDK now has a rwy 13L which previously was, of course, 14L.

Bye BATC for the time being as I am not planning on buying 3rd party scenery to be compatible with BATC.

So you are blaming BATC for the fact that Asobo/MS have the wrong runway designation in their data?

How about Asobo/MS correct the airport detail!

I use BATC with every flight and have done since its release. I fly every day, sometimes twice, and I have never had any problems with the AI traffic program apart from an odd stutter, which has slowly improved with every update. I'm running the experimental version, which is updated on a regular basis. Did you know that there are three separate versions of BATC you can run? The Vulcan version, DX11 version and the OpenGL version, use whichever gives you the best performance.

I fly using BATC daily, and in 80% of the flights, I do have issues with it - mainly related to traffic mainly at 3rd party airports, as depicted.

I was aware of the different versions. Thanks.

Clam down, bob - Nobody's blaming anyone.

You can rate my posts however you'd like. I'm simply pointing out my issues with the program, and yes—these posts are mainly due to the poor customer treatment I received from their staff on Discord. I will continue posting until they fix these bugs (if possible). Only then will I stop making these posts.

Perhaps, but these issues don't occur mainly on the ground.

For example:

The first example in your picture is not an issue, it's simply a missing feature. Traffic seperation between the user aircraft and the ai is not yet implemented and plan for later stages of developmen.

Hahah.

NO.

Yes. Just check the roadmap in the Home Screen of the User Interface. Separation is part of Traffic 2.0.

The fault is 2024, why blame BATC?

If these are platform limitations, why has nobody bothered to update me about them ?

It does take that into account, accepting +/-1. So 14L would be accepted in that case. In your case the bug is probably with the new airport ops introduced specifically for EDDK. This will be fixed soon

For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.
