BeyondATC at it's best....

What about the current state of say intentions? I tried it about 10-12 months ago and it was okay but inconsistent. Seems like it’s come a long way since then with traffic injection now but hard to separate the hype from the actual. Any current perspectives on the comparison to Batc?

The AI in P3Dv4 did a solid job of directing aircraft correctly on the ground. It is a shame that MSFS is more last generation than next generation in this respect.

Unless airport operations specifiy otherwise airliners will take off with up to 10knots of tailwind.

So in general there is nothing to fix.

Yes a great choice if it wasn't for the voices.

For me is fine, voices as real monotone ATC over EU 😂 BATC more Hollywood, sure...
But what you don't like in voices? And did you try to tune radio effect?

I also think the FS HUD voices are not good, and so does the developer apparently, because he is working on that issue for V3.

I didn't say "voices are not good."

What I see are posts saying "FSHud voices are bad" with no reason or example.
That isn't feedback we can act on. A lot of this looks like old impressions from early versions or people echoing hype from other products.

My view: real ATC radio is flat and compressed. It can be hard on the ears and sometimes unclear.
That's how radio actually sounds, not a studio voiceover.
Some people prefer a clean, cinematic sound — that's a taste choice.

You can also adjust the radio effect and voice speed in FSHud if you want a cleaner sound.

We agree there are pronunciation issues on some words and sentences.
These are on our 2025 roadmap and will be fixed.

If you think anything else is wrong, post specifics — the exact word or sentence, or a short clip with a timestamp and where it happened.
We will add reported items to the 2025 roadmap list.

If users want an optional game-style voice mode, we can add it as well.
But “it’s bad” without examples isn’t feedback — it adds nothing.

@FSHud I've got all three, SI, BATC and FSHud.

There are a number of things I prefer about FSHud but the voices are, IMHO, far to robotic compared to the other two. Its like comparing generic Windows TTS voices to more neural voices of ElevenLabs. I don't think there's a specific way to describe it.

I'd love it if you did like SI has (as has the developer of Self Loading Cargo, and Universal Announcer) and allow the user to use their Elevenlabs account if they have one.

I prefer the voices in FSHud as it's the only one that sounds as though the voices are being transmitted via radio. I don't want super-clear audio, I want VHF degradation.

BeyondATC does have that as well.

Well i can tell you this much they have a tower at kict and i sure the heck in real life don't see it.  I can have 10 knot tailwinds gusting to 16knts In the sim they send me in with that tailwind up my butt gust to 16knts BS. Wichita, Ks is the air capitol and no love.... Got aircraft plants out the butt out here with the military and CESSNA service center.  Frankly I just think someone is being lazy about it cause KICT is in class C airspace.

Happy Landings

P.S.  We have a whole bunch of aviation at KICT kinda like an oasis of aviaton really.

BeyondATC doesn't seem to manage traffic as well as FSHud especially at busy airports. I've been given takeoff clearance a few times while aircraft are landing on the same runway...

Now you are just moving goal posts. You said you want VHF-Degredation and that is not exclusive to FS-HUD.

None unfortunately.  Default ATC is good enough for vfr though.

I do think BATC is good enough if a person only flies airliners.  It's good at structured logic/routes where everything is predefined.

So Ryan, with your background, how is it in the currrent state for bizjet flying from and too mostly regional GA airports?  Little if any pax commercial traffic.  Think Duke family. Hjet, Cit X.....

I wasn't aware we were trying to score points against one another. I'm sure you'll be okay.

I disagree with this comment as i think both manage traffic well

I own both and both are excellent for what they offer.

The rest is personal choice and I for one am happy to be able to choose.
