Yes, I manually checked for updates in the store and there were xbox and game bar updates available but they have made no difference even after a restart. It is a bit inconvenient but it doesn't really bother me that much as long as I remember to shut it down manually.

So, Asobo can't fix it and you need to replace your battery.
