Lot of fuss right now on their discord about the launcher being dodgy ... as I'm away for a lot of the next month I will wait until July and if all well get the $5 monthly trial.

It's only $120 for all those models if they actually get released.  All you can guarantee right now for that $120 is one model and so at the moment it has to be judged that way.

There was a good response to these reports by a cybersec guy who did a quick analysis. It seems more a case of lazy installer packaging (i.e., using a lot of default settings and no signed certificate

  • I don't know what is going on with these developers these days. Another early release with numerous bugs and an extremely high price ($120 to own it), which is beyond belief.

What a disaster on their part with this release. A launcher that doesn't work after a failed launch 2 weeks ago.

That’s because it didn’t have “Just Flight” in the title. Unfortunately.

I’d argue it’s more because of the release issues, issues shown by early streamers etc.

I’d love a classic 737 but will staying away from this one until there reports of the many issues being fixed.

You right, at least for what happens by this Team about the release but and this is a BIG BUT :

We should give new and dedicated developers a chance. We're all happy to see something new and different coming along – or am I mistaken?

I'm following this project anyway; it's interesting from an aircraft perspective, at least for me, who would like to see these old-school aircraft in the flight simulator. If you throw yourself into it so glumly, it's no incentive for anything else. Think about it...

And I'm almost certain that if you give the guys more time and updates, it could ultimately be a very good thing – PMDG started out too, and not everything that glitters was gold!

cheers 😉

We have judge every dev by what they deliver and particularly with a new dev because they have no track record to look at.

As much as I despise the rental model this dev has promoted I'll still interested in the planes they are developing and if the value and quality ever meet the price they are asking then I'll buy it

MalwareBytes reports the installer, I’ve sent the file and details to MalywareBytes support team.  Surprised other’s didn’t get a malware trigger on this file?

Surprised this new airliner thread barely has any traction here at avsim.  Usually you people are hyped about boring airliners!

Wow. A rare burn from the man in black. Well done.

Also not interested. Too busy flying the 727 and 306

LOTS of reports of this on discord, but not every AV complains so it's most likely not a real virus...but why risk it, just wait a while...

Agreed. So many products over the years get relased and never finished! Remember the Captain Sim 757 that was supposed to be study level and they never finished it? All you hear is crickets from CS if you ask them whats going on?

Oh no! Haven't you guys read fine print before purchasing?  The product come from russian aviation "professional"! Welcome to malware world LOL

Don't even waste $5 on it ATM. I purchased the plane today and its so bad! Every guage flickers and the FMC is not usable as a result. It behaves like an alpha release.

And truth be told, this would hardly be the first addon installer that makes various A/V unhappy with false positives...

But that just puts the focus back on their seemingly lackadaisical product development and public relations.

Very sloppy work at the least.

And no, I do NOT care that their eventual goal is to deliver 9-ish different variants for $120. What they've demonstrated in just ONE variant so far is truly a train wreck.

I'm not gonna write them off, but at this point I'd rather wait for the iFly MAX or just go and (finally) get the full Fenix line up. And still have enough money left over for another GOOD addon!

My spidy senses are tingling all over about these guys. Maybe I'll just wait and see how things shake out.
