July 12, 2025Jul 12 Fuel cuttoff switches have to be pulled and then moved back from their RUN detent. It's not just a "flipping" ... So, even casually / inadvertently hitting these levers wouldn't move them from either of their RUN or CUTOFF detents. I still watch news media as well just tend to ignore the aviation reports from them for reasons as you said, they misreport things far too often, therefore I am welling to wait for Juan Browne to do a report over what the news media has to say.
