June 19, 2025Jun 19 Interesting.. as far as I can tell, this will be the first time in a long time that a PMDG plane has direct, high-quality competition in the shape of the IFly Max. Don't remember that happening in at least 10 years? Looking forward to seeing the differences between the two. 9800X3d, 4090, 64 GB DDR5 6000 RAM, 4 TB NVME (2x2), 4K Ultra + Framegen

IFLY had direct competition with their 747 and 737 in P3D; IMO, IFLY is a VERY underrated developer. Matt King

P3D 4? it's been a while anyway. I like the Ifly and that's why I am looking forward to reading reviews and all. Usually PMDG is always reviewed in comparison to Airbus planes or Zibo or something like that.. it's never a like for like in the same sim, same plane and so on. 9800X3d, 4090, 64 GB DDR5 6000 RAM, 4 TB NVME (2x2), 4K Ultra + Framegen

June 20, 2025Jun 20 PMDG does this occasionally. It doesn't really mean anything Pete Locascio Intel Core Ultra 9 285K, Nvidia RTX 5090, Samsung 9100 Pro 2&4 TB Drives, 64 GB RAM, Asus Z-890 motherboard.

The $37M is reflective of the real-world aircraft cost. Matt King

June 20, 2025Jun 20 Remember that iFly doesn't release to MarketPlace so while PMDG has PC comparison they really have none when it comes to the masses on Console or purchasing via MP only. Have a Wonderful Day -Paul Solk
June 20, 2025Jun 20 Unless it's misdirection, didn't RSR say the 777 (I assume the upcoming budget version) was the last 2020 plane they were making? So this could be a 2024-only plane. I wonder if this ties into the 2024 version of the 737.
June 20, 2025Jun 20 I wonder if they might talk about and/or show it in action at FSExpo next week. Len 1980s: Sublogic FS II on C64 ---> 1990s: Flight Unlimited I/II, MSFS 95/98 ---> 2000s/2010s: FS/X, P3D, XP ---> 2020+: MSFS Current system: i9 13900K, RTX 4090, 64GB DDR5 4800 RAM, 4TB NVMe SSD
