I have EGGW, EGLL, LOWI for both, what are the issues?

MSFS 2020

EGGW - autogen houses in field short left of runway 25 threshold should be hay bales. Runway centreline markings should be aligned properly with each other, and also the centreline lighting.

LOWI - badly misaligned runway centreline markings and displaced threshold arrows. Airside vehicles displaying as coloured blocks until up close.

EGLL - misaligned runway centreline markings on both runways.

  • Another one not getting it. So I help you out with it: my performance is fine with the A350. But it performs 20-30% lower than any other plane in my sim. So tell me why I should reduce the settings fo

Exactly. That's exactly it. People complained the A310 (A306?) was falling off the sky, everyone seemed to have issues with that - It never happened to me and i flew (still fly the A306) a LOT. F

Zero issues. This A359 is a masterpiece and most all other products from them are just sublime.

I don't work for them, i couldn't care less they're called "IniBuilds", they could be named "CaptainSim", when it's good it's good.

It's a quite useful counterpoint to all the doom and gloom naysayers.

I've seen people complain that they can't run Ultra at 4K on their 5 year old potato PC, either.

At some point one has to consider that there are a noticeable number of unreasonable people, many of who's biggest problem is located right between the chair and the keyboard.

Meanwhile, there are ALSO the obviously significant number of customers who ARE satisfied and who don't feel the need to come on the fora just to say how happy they are.

I'm certainly not saying that iB is a fantastic developer with great tech support, but man, let's always agree that there's three sides to every story: theirs, ours, and the truth.

Exactly.  You will always get the most noise from those that are having issues.  Same with any product.

My Ini A350 works extremely well, and I don't have any issues either.  It's a great aircraft and awesome that Ini are always finding ways to improve it.

I don't doubt that some have issues, I see those issues get raised.

You never had a single WASM crash? You never run out of VRAM? You never experience any of those endless bugs listed in the official forums?

One single random example from the forums:

VNAV Logic – the 250kt restriction at ESKDO is shown in magenta on the ND and also has a magenta asterisk next to it on the F-PLN page. This indicates that the aircraft will meet the constraint. This is clearly incorrect, the aircraft is very close to ESKDO and almost 50kt too fast, the aircraft will not make this constraint and so should be in orange not magenta.

This is a bug. End of the story. And it happens for everyone, including you. So you might not be bothered by it (I am neither), but still this single example renders your statement false. You have "zero issues you could care of", then it is correct. For my simple A to B flights I also do not encounter many issues (WASM crashes being the rare exception), but claiming it is issue free is ridiculous, furthermore led to absurdum by the fact that there were already 10 patches fixing hundreds of bugs. Which would not be necessary if there would be "zero issues", no?

The rest is fine, "is a masterpiece and most all other products from them are just sublime" is an opinion, not a fact, and as such: happy for you that you think this way. I do not.

Yes, it is understandable if the devs have a record of delivering high quality addons. Come on, it is just fact that always the same devs are criticized, there is no agenda behind, it is simply because they provide sub-par products. End of the discussion.

but its about money and theres money to be made from the new "gamers"

Issue is not so much inibuilds per se.

Somehow the cheerleading squad had managed to convince everyone that they are some top tier developer. Actually the comparison to aerosoft is more fitting. Quite nice on the outside with not an awful lot under the hood.

Buying into the idea that they are in the same league as pmdg, fenix or labs as often suggested by said squad, is bound to end up in a disappointment as inevitably it did for quite a few.

People stating, " Zero issues. This A359 is a masterpiece and most all other products from them are just sublime. Or Ini A350 works extremely well, and I don't have any issues either "  are a perfect example of not understanding how "a" software should work, that any software will have some degree of bugs, or simply they have a desire to argue at any cost to the point of embarrassment. Besides that, they are the primary target for these kinds of developers; they also do a big disservice to the Sim community by spreading false information.

Soon you will have nowhere to buy from, if you reject an installer.

I think you misunderstood, the installers are fine, it’s forcing purchase on the website because the iniManager doesn’t work with checkout process (endless spinning circle) and then after purchase from the website, sends me back to iniManager for install.

I don’t mind the one-stop-shop places like Orbx, Contrail, etc. … but they need to work and allow single point of purchase.

Out of VRAM, i've said this enough: Stop using 8k textures (why even) and setting everything on ultra just because you think you can. Configure the simulator properly and you will never run into problems like these. People want it all: 4k, ultra, 5+ addons for just about anything and expect all to run in perfect sync. Spoiler alert: It won't happen.

You are required to monitor your flight at all times. If you think the real machine is "bug-free" or if any responsible pilot would trust the machine 100% you're in for a surprise. If it happens i will correct it, i don't care if it's a bug or not - I am monitoring it and if it misbehaves i will do my part as virtual pilot: Deal with it.

I will agree with you to a certain degree on that statement.
However, in real life, I probably have had to "deal with it" no more than once or twice in the past few years. Also, we trust and put our lives 100% in the real machine, but we constantly monitor it, leaving no space for errors. Regarding their products, there are always certain issues that require a "human touch" due to bad programming. About configuring "properly" MSFS2020 and 2024, it's a very long stretch, we/they face many issues regarding optimization.

Not sticking up for inibuilds here as the manager definately needs work, but i've found if I get the spinny thing when trying to purchase I log out of manager and back in again and it then works. Not great but it can be done.

Fair enough. Not being an actual trained pilot, i would never be able to detect them. Well, none TOO obvious at least, so i made that statement. I really have no (detectable by me) issues.
