Becoming the Aeorsoft of those days, closing down bug threads in the forums with the excuse that it is Asobos fault, temporarily banning people from their forums for asking critical questions, kicking people out of discord for so called misbehaviour.

I mean, they push those addons out like no other with a reasonable quality, but they DO mistakes, their products DO have bugs so why messing with the customers? Another dev team that totally forgot that it is US customers making them great and responsible for their paycheck end of the month. But as Aerosoft in early days, they give the customer the impression that they are an annoying necessity on which they would rather avoid if possible. Bummer...

  • I always find it funny when people chime in with, “I have no issues, everything runs great!” That’s great—for you. But the reality is, there are plenty of users who are not happy with the performance

  • Another one not getting it. So I help you out with it: my performance is fine with the A350. But it performs 20-30% lower than any other plane in my sim. So tell me why I should reduce the settings fo

Exactly. That's exactly it. People complained the A310 (A306?) was falling off the sky, everyone seemed to have issues with that - It never happened to me and i flew (still fly the A306) a LOT. F

Yeah theyre starting to word not allowed me off as well.

I've had problems with airports and I put up a support thread on discord and I get no response.

I do like the A350, but then, I don't fly it enough to be able to judge the bugs and limitations, and I don't have, even by far, the base knowledge about the type to be able to offer my oppinion.

There's stuff I find must be a bug, here & there, but for the type of use I give to it, it's acceptable.

But then let's not forget that for €0,00 we all have the Fly-By-Wire offers, including the 320 NEO and the A380 !!! And they're complex enough to go beyond my present knowledge about Airbuses...

We're lucky to be in the right time at the right place, and have FS 2024 and addons that really can provide us with rather pleasurable virtual flight operations 🙂

This company has a huge flaw and that's the (.KTX2) un resizable 4K textures that makes most GPU's to exceed vram and turns the sim into a stutter fest. I will not buy a single scenery from them if they don't give me a low resolution option for msfs 2024.

The main issue here is the "customer" who keeps buying products full of bugs, despite the abundant feedback. For some reason, people continue to invest in well-known developers who engage in these bad business practices and show disrespect to those who keep them in business. Vote with your wallet and watch how quickly they change their harmful ways of treating the people who put money in their pockets.
What prevents people from treating Inibuilds or similar companies like Captain Sim?

It seems to me that they do more updates to their sceneries than many other devs, so I do like that about them. Is that not the case?

I tend to agree to a certain point. I'll be very specific, it's that JFK scenery for MSFS 2020. I've been based at the airport for the last 30 years, and I would dare to say that I'm familiar with the airport and its surroundings. I explained my situation and shared with them the shortcomings (bugs), and I was told that they have their people familiar with the airport, and there is nothing wrong, and they removed the post. Based on their support, for sure, I'm not buying anything from them anymore.
You make your own conclusions.

Totally agree!
Their 350 is a joke and so poorly optimised that it’s impossible to fly even with no cabin and low res textures.
Their sceneries are hit and miss - for example their new 2024 EGLL has loads of issues. The most glaring one was all of T3 disappearing when arriving at the airport. Many customers reported it on their forums and were told “it’s your PC, dial down your settings”. It was then supposedly fixed in the latest patch but part of T3 still doesn’t load properly. It was flagged weeks ago and no one from ini even acknowledged it. There are other issues like the runway looking super blurry when approaching and 09R using the displaced threshold as the runway entry point so “AI traffic lands in the right spot”. It’s not even used for landing in reality but by doing it like that it causes major issues with BATC and other ATC software as it makes users line up 3 taxiways down the runway rather than using full length. When flagged on their forums they said “it’s a compromise, what is right for you isn’t right for others so we won’t change it”. Aha - it was working fine in the 2020 version. I’m back to using 2020 as that has no issues with any of these things.

Their immediate response to any feedback it to flip it back on the user or dismiss claims. Even now their forums are littered with people flagging the abysmal performance of the 350 but they just say it’s “difficult for them to reproduce”.

I strongly disagree with their priorities too. Rather than fix the basics of their products they keep adding stuff that - at least in my opinion - has no place in a flight sim. Duct taped unruly passengers - really? You add stuff like that whilst I’m getting 20 FPS less than with Fenix and PMDG, there are still many issues with basic systems and flight models and yet you position and price this at the top end of the market as if it was the highest fidelity airliner ever made.
It’s a shame they control so much of the market at the minute because it’s all just quantity over quality, but in many cases there aren’t many alternatives. Such a shame Fenix didn’t get to do their 350 - it would have been light years ahead of the ini offering and shows how - at the end of the day - their strategy is having a long term impact on customer choice.

Never had an issue, whether in 2020 or 2024 , other than the initial release of the A350, i don't see the stuttering your seem to see, nor the poor performance. Specs below.

I’m experiencing extremely poor performance (below 25 FPS), and it fills up the VRAM on my 5090 to the point where the A350 is unusable even with the low texture pack or without the cabin. I mean, the A350 has always had poor performance, but this latest “update” is just awful. Discord is full of people reporting the same issue, but their response is always the same: “We can’t reproduce the problem.” In other words, they either can’t fix it or don’t want to.

I’ve had no issues with iniBuilds, support has been good.  What was your specific issue and product?

Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. - Carl Sagan

I have a number of issues with IniBuilds at the moment with respect to MSFS 2020.

  • Non PG users considered to be irrelevant
  • All development for MSFS 2020 abandoned
  • Informed them of issues with LOWI Innsbruck, and then they released an update for MSFS 2024 only
  • Informed them of issues with EGGW Luton, installed the update to correct them, and no change. It makes me wonder if this is also only for MSFS 2024.
  • Runway centreline markings at EGLL London Heathrow are misaligned.

To be fair, I have only just realised that the Luton issues have not been corrected on my PC, but I have installed the latest update, and they seem to think that it should work. However, it does not. They want screenshots, but I cannot provide them until next weekend because I am on holiday. Maybe someone else with the latest version installed in MSFS 2020 can check the alignment of the runway centreline markings, and also whether the autogen houses in the field short left of the runway 25 threshold have been replaced with hay bales?

As for London Heathrow, I did mention the problem with misaligned runway centreline markings last year, and I have only recently asked again. However, I sent multiple screenshots this time, so....

Because that's not a thing.

Sure it does not perform as well as PMDG products, but what does?

The perrformance is fine.
