July 14, 2025Jul 14 Did a flight from cyvr to yssy Msfs2020 So obviously took off and reached cruise altitude. Went to bed ,woke up before TOD and noticed that traffic had shut down completely using Aig traffic controller. Any fix from stopping that from happening. Traffic controller is set to my depart airport and arrival in settings. Set to 50% Thanks Mike
July 14, 2025Jul 14 No, currently I suffer a lot from AIG TC crashes during flight as well. According to the eventlog, always a different cause. So I have no idea what can be done about. Better off asking them directly via discord or forums... Greetings, Chris AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D, 2x32GB DDR5 6000MT/s RAM, MSI RTX 4090 Ventus 3X, Windows 11 Home, MSFS2024
July 14, 2025Jul 14 I'm using AIG only the models, together with BATC, as they are easier on frames and cover a pretty good amount of airlines everywhere, but certainly the process of updating flightplans and models via their AIG Manager is a hassle lately. July 14, 2025Jul 14 It happened to me a few times. According to the event log and AIG support, it caused by the new Simconnect from Asobo. July 14, 2025Jul 14 Before I moved to FSHUD traffic injection I used an auto restart on crash app so if TC crashed it automatically restarted itself. Worked great... https://m.majorgeeks.com/files/details/restart_oncrash.html Have a Wonderful Day -Paul Solk

I have "auto injected" off, because it resulted in a bunch of other issues some versions ago. In MSFS, if you keep traffic open the entire duration of the flight, they tend to do weird things once you get to the destination airport.

I leave it off and don't inject until settled at the departure airport. That seems to work the best.
July 14, 2025Jul 14 Has happened more frequently this week. Shut down three times at PHL set at 100% and changing to 50% didn't help. Restarted once airborne and no more crashes. Next flight from RDU-AVL no problems. Maybe it's the simconnect issue someone mentioned.
July 14, 2025Jul 14 Question - I’ve never use the TC from AIG. I use the models and then FSltl. Is the injector better than FSltl? 9800X3d, 4090, 64 GB DDR5 6000 RAM, 4 TB NVME (2x2), 4K Ultra + Framegen

Both are still controlled in close to airports and on the ground by the default AI engine of the sim which has ZERO idea on what ATC even is. AIGTC uses schedules which are updated fairly often and includes lots of Cargo, GA, some military and of course MANY MANY airlines.. FSLTL injector is based on FR24 data which does cover a lot of traffic, but there is also a fair bit that is also blocked and missing from the GA and Military side. The bigger thing with the FSLTL injector is that being FR24 based, is the issue of time. So if you fly in different time zones etc you are stuck with the traffic happening right now. With AIGTC you can freely change/adjust the time. i7-13700KF, 32gb DDR4 3200, RTX 4080, Win 11, MSFS 2024
July 14, 2025Jul 14 Thanks for the summary. So 1. TC has more traffic, esp GA and military. 2. FSltl uses only live traffic data so one can’t change time and expect it to match. other than these two things, not much difference? I would stick with FSltl then, it works smoothly and with no issues. 9800X3d, 4090, 64 GB DDR5 6000 RAM, 4 TB NVME (2x2), 4K Ultra + Framegen
July 14, 2025Jul 14 AIGTC would have a fair bit more traffic all round, but that is customizable to the user either way. It's also only a 12mb download, and doesn't even need to be installed. Personally I think it's the better option, but I'm pickier than most with my AI traffic. i7-13700KF, 32gb DDR4 3200, RTX 4080, Win 11, MSFS 2024
July 14, 2025Jul 14 I'm happy with AIGTC. I've been using it so long I'm use to it and sometimes its crazy behavior. But it works for me.
