August 17, 2025Aug 17 Just purchased and installed the A2A Comanche 250 after reading all these favorable posts. My first payware plane. I am truly amazed. For me, this changes the sim from a game to a flight simulator. i7-10700 CPU @2.90 GHz, 32 GB Ram, nVadia GTX1660ti, Samsung 1 TB SSD Drive
August 17, 2025Aug 17 I've just started flying the PMDG 737-800 again, after being away from it for many months. It is a great flying aircraft, and it lands like a dream. Does everything well. 😄
August 17, 2025Aug 17 An airplane that seems under-represented here is the Flight FX Piaggio P180. I don't own it, but have strongly considered it even though I'm generally not a glass cockpit/turbine guy. Reviews I've read have been mostly positive, but little mention here in a best planes topic. Just kinda curious as to why? Scott

Just kinda curious as to why? Scott It's nothing special. It does the job, but after flying the Black Square turboprops I think most will find it a bit underwhelming. Their Citation X, although similar, has a certain character that the P.180 is lacking. Also I think most people here aren't big fans of the WT Pro Line system. Even if it's a decent simulation of the real system, the way you interact with the Pro Line IRL doesn't lend itself to mouse-and-keyboard very well. April 1Apr 1 I just got the FSR500 by FsReborn and my god is that thing great! The Piper Meridian is not the most pleasing aircraft on the eye from the outside but the way she looks inside, the features, the flight model, it's so much fun. Also the little ideas he had for creating an immersive experience with a twist, like having action cameras that you can switch on and off and that will switch to an outside view for example when you extend the gear. It's really a piece of art and I really look forward to the Phenom even more after having flown the FSR500 now.
